wow, lucky to those small sized person, can save rm100 on jerseys.
*
Yup but the kids sizing jerseys, the size of the nike swoosh, club crest and sponsors are smaller.

QUOTE(MaxReddevil @ Jul 25 2009, 09:04 PM)
The new HOME jersey will be used for the 2009/2010 season only, right?
*
Maybe.

QUOTE(rooneybeckham @ Jul 26 2009, 12:36 AM)
did someone buy from web below??
http://www.classicfootballshirts.co.uk/
is it authentic??

how is the shipping rate?
*
If not mistaken shipping to Malaysia using Royal Mail International Signed For was GBP9. Not sure if they have changed it.

It's 100% authentic.

Re-quoting what I said earlier:

To understand more, check out this chart:

Apologies for the quality of the chart.

From the chart, it actually shows this:

PLAYERS SIZE (Process: Lextra)

Letters: 53mm
Numbers: 258mm
Short Numbers: 104mm
Players Name: 53mm

ADULT REPLICA (Process: PU)
Letters: 47mm
Numbers: 230mm
Short Numbers: 104mm
Players Name: 47mm

JUNIOR REPLICA (Process: Lextra & PU)

Numbers: 165mm
Players Name: 34mm

So from this, you can see that there are 3 categories of EPL namesets. Which is player sizes, adult replica and junior replica.

See the measurement details.. the letters for player sizes are 53mm tall and numbers are 258mm tall.

The letters and numbers sold at local stores are all players size. Since only player size namesets are lextra material.

Jerseys applied with epl namesets from kitbag/united direct use adult replica namesets.. which are smaller and uses PU (thin plastic material).
*
Only players size namesets are made by lextra. Real one and al-ikhsan are selling lextra type namesets. So you now should get the point.

anyway, how long will it takes to apply the namesets?
may try find some time to go to KL.

Since it is a signed shirt you better go to kl yourselves, after all this is malaysia, someone might screwed up something somewhere.

But i help my sis applied her NN from Al Ikhsan... after the person allowed it to cool for 10 minutes he hand it over to me. Just reached home just now and saw the jersey had turned to this: -

wow, that looks pretty bad, and the placing is too low. Flip the shirt and try to iron at the number see if that helps.

Yea the NNs look a tad low.

About the wrinkles, you probably just dumped the shirt into a plastic bag right? Mine was like that as well at first, just wear it and wash and it should be alright.

Not sure what happened but you can try fixing it..

Flip your jersey inside out, sprinkle some water and then iron press the letters beneath the area where the letters sits... Ironing it will smoothen the surface of the nameset and also make the glue bond better.

No need to worry. It's normal.

About the placement.. No comments. I normally do my nameset printing by myself, except for some delicate PU namesets. But from what I see, I think the placement is ok.. remember this is a small sized jersey.

Yes, that is lextra. Why are you confused?

Lextra vs PU (polyurethane or thin plastic) is so different...

Most people will prefer Lextra cause it's more durable and overall easier to maintain.

I asked the fella... its normal for Girl sized jersey as the tab on the back of the shirt is quite low. Ironed just now... it looks better.

Asked Kak Zaiton and the fellas at ALi BB... only Kak Zaiton gave me a date of arrival. Calling her this thursday... see what happens.

*edit*
I am in no way criticizing or suggesting that ALi BB does a bad printing job, in fact they were professional at it and highly recommended thumbup.gif , i was just curious on how it turn out putting Lextra NN on a girl sized jersey.
