Are you talking about acoustic steel-string? There are many classical and electric guitar teachers, but it's not easy to find good acoustic steel-string teachers locally. If you have trouble locating one, a suggestion that I can make is to buy a good acoustic guitar DVD from the USA. Some of the pros there really know how to play and teach. Originals cost less than RM100 (including shipping) if you buy them off eBay. DVDs aren't better than having a good teacher, but for the price and number of hours you can practise with them, they're a very affordable alternative. Let me know if you are interested and I can recommend some titles smile.gif

By the way, I am a part-time teacher myself, but I have stopped taking students till after July because of work-related matters.
