Where do you guyz get the stand for SD? I am having a hard time looking for them.

I think you can use those 1/144 scale stands for SD? Not too sure though

Some say can, some say cannot. Nobody to confirm with.

And each stand cost around the same price as an SD!

don't wanna buy something if it turns out to be unsuable..

that stand size 1/144 can be used becoz got several head can be customized to fit the SD kit..

Ya, 8tvt is right.
SD is too general, like 8tvt mentioned, seed series SD mostly have a hole at the bottom of the model kits, so this allow you to use the 1/144 stand.
But for those musha series (old old one) and sanguo series, dont have hole (unless you want to drill one), so you can't use stand for it.

And for the stand, you can use 1/144 one, but you are right, they are almost the price of one SD.
What I always do is to get a pirated one (most of the pirated SD kits have stand come along), that is how I get my SD stand. And those pirated kits, you can keep it for diorama (you can cut here, cut there compared to the original one). Or another usage is to get their pc-joints......

Ah, all my SD collections are either
SEED series or 00 series.

Don't like sanguo series. donno why...

if for those.. the stand will be good then..
if got several stand.. can combine them to make a big platform..

if u notice SF vs Destiny use 1/144 n 1/100 stand..

Actually I dont like the stand also.
I prefer to use a wooden platform or making diorama to display.....
Of course, making those is not an easy job fornoobie like me....

Pirate SD = good source for cheap spare parts.
