hey guys im looking for SD Red Astray and other traditional SDs in KL area. so far ive seen some in Timesquare gamers arena. any idea whr else?

Time Machine - Berjaya Times Square (7th Floor)
Graffiti Toys - Berjaya Times Square (5th Floor)
Fantasy Toys - Low Yatt Plaza (UG floor)

I dont remember seeing SD Red Astray anymore at Time Machine and Gamers Arena though. I got my SD Red Astray from Gamers Arena a month back but don't remember they have restock on that. IIRC, they still have SD Astray Gold Frame around but not Red Frame.

Ah..My bad Didn't look at it properly. Anyway, for most choices, the best place around in BTS is Time Machine. Other shop do not have much variety. Graffiti Toys have a lot of Sangou versions, Gamers Arena at times have a few SDs around (got my Red Frame and Zeta SD there). Time Machine have loads of variety though, and some of them are quite old Got my SD Dom, SD Blitz, SD Zaku and lots more over there

Guys, just came back from Jusco, now they are packing the stickers you see in the past, those with lots of eyes and flags together with the clear Sun Quan and metallic apa nama set.

Time Machine ain't cheap.

actually time machine is kinda cheap.. may b im a regular customer so the price sumtimes can b nego or will b given discount. at time machine u able to pre-order too if ur a regular customer with min d/p rm50 only.

my fav choice:
1) time machine
2) lowyat plaza
3) 5th grafity toys & sg wang.. (very expensive & last place to visit lol)...

in your list, i would say that at times only grafitti is cheap, their promo items only.

woot like u said, when they got promo.. how long im gonna wait for that.. haha

anyway last week i survey keroro Big Tycoon set at time machine is cheaper rm12 n sd gundam raiser is cheaper by rm2 compare to grafity.

time machine gundam marker non bb type is also cheaper by rm4 compare to lowyat fantasy shop...

i even bought my zoid blade liger for rm 185 compare to xl-toys rm198. lolz
just my opinion during my survey.

never been to places like auntie lenny's, AF or Famitoys?

up until about half a year ago i didn't mind time machine's prices - a few extra ringgit makes little difference if you factor in travelling costs etc, and there's a lot more to do/see at BTS, but of late they have gone mad imho. 800 yen SD selling for RM60? That's an exchange rate of 0.075

of course there are things that TM sell cheaper than other shop, but since it's a SD thread here so let just compare the SD price. i would say most of the SD prices in TM especially those reissue SD are way too expensive. like madmoz says, 800yen kit (eg devil gundam) is selling @RM60. this is crazy price. 400yen reissue GG SD is selling @RM24, which imo is also been overprice.

of course it's always wise to survey the price in few toys shop before you buy.

i think maybe avaultz not even reached auntie place...
some price to compare during high yen rates..
Y1000 - RM39.00
Y600 - RM23.80
Y500 n Y400 should be lower..

if to compare to jusco ofcourse ler TM cheaper - LOL
but still ain't cheap..

I agree Time Machine aint the cheapest place around. There are items that comes in good price, while there are some others that are not as good. Graffiti Toys have better pricing on certain items. So far, cheapest place i have been to is Famitoy but they dont have a wide variety of BBs available as compared to the other places mentioned.

famitoy don't have much sd line up.. but price also cheap..
maybe this few days want to go there.. to get another piece of shield..
