You mean the arrow's not there?
Try clicking on the most right, it'll automatically slide to the left to reveal the next line up of options.

Lol... Just came back from NCC... The Lock Code thing got me real bad yesterday... Funnay thing was, even after the reflash, it seems that my mSD card ALSO got locked somehow (I never DID set my mSD lock code either)... sweat.gif

So much for backups made on the mSD... I was half in luck bcause I did backup ONCE from PCSuite, that halved my work somewhat... hmm.gif

Now to reinstall EVERYTHING I've ever installed in my mSD, and some newer proggies I was trying out yesterday... sweat.gif

Wonder what that thing was, anyhows, the funnay code thingy? I appreciate the LOOOOOOOOOOOONG list of updates on V20 Nokia, but why the hassle of the code lock issue?

You could've just said in the update file = please do a soft settings reset after installing this update (and do not even think about REBOOTING - which I did and look where it got me)... sweat.gif

Me and doomx experience random colour changes to the display after the update. Happened to me in V11 but with V20 it happened for a longer time and at a more frequent frequency and also the colour lasts longer. Seems to be settling now though.

Still got. I turned by phone off and on again and after entering my sim password phone was ok. Then when in SMS, the requested the code again- yes it was in alphanumeric. Question is- for what app/phone/sim? I entered my sim code, said code error, but phone working like normal...

I think I found the cause for FUNNY CODE... most likelly totalrecall. I set to autostart and password protected it.. when I turned autostart off, turning phone off and on again- no more funny code request! I guess the code might have been for totalrecall!

Those having this code error, u have totalrecall installed?

Memory buying Guide: Speed Class

SDHC cards have SD Speed Class Ratings defined by the SD Association. “These new speeds are available in a new specification defining the minimum data transfer speeds for both SD/SDHC memory cards and SD/SDHC host products. This enhancement is easily recognized by three levels of Speed Class, class 2, 4 and 6. Speed Class 2 guarantees a MINIMUM transfer speed of 2 mega bytes per second (MB/s), Speed Class 4 guarantees a minimum transfer speed of 4 MB/s and Speed Class 6 guarantees a minimum transfer speed of 6 MB/s.”

It’s very important to notice that the speed class rating specifies a minimum transfer speed. So instead of showing the typical maximum, which in many cases is never reached, this system shows a guaranteed minimum. In many cases the system will easily surpass this minimum, with a transfer speed that’s much higher. A good example of this is this benchmark test done here with the Nokia 5800 XpressMusic. I used a class 2 16GB microSDHC card, which guarantees a minimum transfer speed of 4 MB/s, but in reality what we got was actually almost twice that at 7.4 Mb/s. Using a card reader we could even see a dramatically higher transfer speed of 19.7 MB/s!

I’ve also been seeing some people who got a “class 2” 16 GB card and wanted to exchange it for the class 4 model, claiming that the class 2 card was “slower and that it would “slow things down.” This is definitely not true. Checking with the same test here, even a class 2 card is enough for even the fastest of Nseries devices; the N96 and 5800 XpressMusic. A card reader is our was able to squeeze 19.7 MB/s out of a class, which certainly more than any Nseries currently on the market, including the N96 and 5800 XpressMusic. Below you can see how much juice we were able to squeeze out of “mere” class 2 card:

A golden rule applies when buying memory cards for your Nseries device: cheaper class 2 memory cards are more than enough for current Nseries device, even the newer devices with enhanced transfer speeds. Things might change quickly though with future devices…

For the duplicate contact after update of new firmware, you can solve it easily. Just go to your contact list -> option -> setting -> contacts to display -> tick sim memory then untick phone memory -> back -> option -> setting -> contacts to display -> tick phone memory and untick sim memory -> back then you are done, the contact list back like normal.

Why don't you upgrade your firmware. That should help your problem.
