a real newbie here that is very interested but dunno what to expect ....all these sifu's wont really do the easy trails right?...scared to followlah....

2hrs ride experience boleh ka?

The 2k trail is really smooth and flowy, don't matter. The only hard parts are some slope switchbacks, even the pros push their bikes up there xD.

I dunno can wake up so early or not.. memanglah wanna test out the bike    but feel lazy to wake up so early. Can just tell me where do you guys meet up? Just see wether I come or not

i'll most probably be thr. 8 right? semua macam komplot je..... seriously not joking about the newbie thing...BTW.. WHR is the meeting place?...never been thr be4.i know IBM on my right and the bend to the left.

It was great day to go riding at kiara, weather was perfect (dry and didn't rain). The lunch at mamak was just nice(courtesy of snapshots, thanks man)

Trails covered for today's ride

Full loop 2k, reserved 2k loop follow by Apollo and mild climb on tarmac toward to carnival trail. Well, next ride will explore further to clocked more mileages.

Yeah, it was great! Thanks guys, it was my best ride because finally I had a group to lead me though Kiara. Before this all I did was hang out on the tarmac xD and an unsuccessful attempt to traverse 4k.

Rider list & What They Do:

1) NightStalker1993 - ride so damn fast, pro at the downhill trail!
2) latias93 - came along to test out his new bike and explore more of Kiara (bike did GREAT, BTW!)
3) Maxguy - pro climber, most of the uphill parts can climb steadily like a goat.
4) Scotty - 'newbie' riding Jamis Dakar full-sus bike (as opposed to the T-Bolty he claims)
5) Snapshots - this guy got lots of stamina! Can tahan better than me on uphills.

The reverse 2k loop and the Carnival DH trail was sweet!

I think that everyone in this thread should join the ride! I will definitely go again if it's held at Kiara.

Sorry bro, can't attend your Kiara Fun Ride because I am joining the Selangor MTB Challenge tomorrow (technically, today).. at Sungai Buloh.. I saw the name list, about 250 people attending the event.. some from Indonesia also got.. a number of ang mohs also join.. including this guy called Pat Brunsdon who if I am not mistaken is the guy responsible for the trail maintenance in Kiara

how bout the KHS alite 1000 '08. a couple of weeks back this was going for the price of a 24speed MTB. should be quite a good buy and i think i saw this on BBS.
