btw i'm using a cheap lerun and it tries to kill me everytime i go to kiara. that and my lack of skills. anyways, for commuting it is decent but a little on the heavy side.

bmi already 21 tongue.gif already had ok stamina b4 cycling, was swimming regularly. but need more stamina and strength, been hiking up hills or small mountains with friends once a month. anyways, puchong to klang is doable, just depends on the speed. i cycling around my area at around 19km/h on average, slightly hilly ground. if do over 15km/h should be ok for starters if flatland.


if wanna increase stamina/strength/get full body workout go trail cycling at bukit kiara. thumbup.gif get upper body workout pushing the bike everywhere doh.gif


Added on April 16, 2009, 12:53 amoh yeah, keeping the pedalling at around 60rpm and getting a rhythm (i think its called cadence cycling, not sure, might be wrong lol) would be a balance between leg strength and heart workout

i'm 160cm short and i weight 54kgs. and weak some more. low power, need to improve power to weight ratio tongue.gif


graduate next year would mostly spend 1st few paychecks on bike stuff. lol

lol. rpm is how fast ur legs push the pedals and crank. cateyes and cyclometers measure front wheel rpm, which when calculated with the radius of the wheel can obtain the speed. pedalling speed try count manually la. lol. or pedal as fast as u can without running out of breath, but not in a gear that is too high that each crank would burn the thighs. variate the gearing while keeping the pedalling speed constant

lol. 28.3lbs is 12.84kgs. my bike is heavier lol.


just replaced broken stock brake lever with avids. rims had to be aligned. cost of repairs and parts replacement already a quarter of original price. shld be easier to persuade my parents for better bike if this keeps up tongue.gif

just got back. frim got some flowing singletrack trails can go nonstop for quite awhile without going down and pushing. but the climbs(more pushing than climbing 4 me) are torture. tomorrow if my genital area isnt numb anymore might commit suicide go kiara.

ah. i'm still a newbie. more pro at pushing than riding. lol. and my bike isnt exactly the lightest, just now pushed 75% of the way up steroid hill. but the singletracks are less technical than kiara. tomorrow going to kiara?
