Aurelio MOTM for me, benayoun was brilliant too.
It's weird how a 'B team' can come up with such positive responses from us, compared to our 'A Team'
= P
I think rafa should realise benayoun is a great player, i think he could play quite well in the middle, he can dribble very well and is probably one of the most intelligent footballers in our squad.
N'gog didn't do too badly, still young, I can see him developing into a good footballer.
I would REALLY like to see Daniel Pacheco get a call up some time soon, he's been brilliant for the reserve and youth team recently.

If liverpool bought david villa - wow i could only dream of that happening.
I'm sure he'd relish the chance to play beside his spanish counterpart torres, together they'd score 50 a season between them !

I think torres would prefer having a striking partner, though he could handle playing up top alone.
Regardless of what anyone else thinks, i personally think that rafa should invest in a striker, come the next transfer window

i hate the lone striker role, there is nobody to play off, and is very difficult to follow up with shots because the midfielders wont be near enough to.
prefer two strikers up top - i think its more effective.

tonight's match will be good.
but somehow i'm not very confident.
i'm as a big supporter than anyone else, but our attacking options look bleak, we have no dynamic play. we can play through the middle well, but lucas just isnt a top player yet, hopefully tonight, if we play 4-5-1, masch and alonso will play in the middle with gerrard playing an attacking mid/supporting striker role, though he's still in doubt for participation tonight.
kuyt would start im sure, great performance from him against city.
I think riera's fantastic but he hasnt been doing too well in our past couple of games.
And i hope, that aurelio will play, whether it's at left back, or center mid (in place of lucas tongue.gif)
Come on Reds!

a first leg draw away is an absolutely horrible result for us.
because they can draw at anfield (such as a 1-1 draw) and they'd go through.
if we could win 1-2 away itd be a fantastic result, because if we concede at anfield once, we'll still go through.
arsene wenger was talking about the disadvantages of the away goal system, as many teams playing at home in the first leg would try play for a 0-0 draw.

i think you should change that from 'with lucas starting'
to
'with lucas participating' or something.
i dont particularly like him,but i guess we have to just deal with it.
we should be able to beat boro without torres, just stick kuyt up top, he's been doing well lately.

Good to see some pictures up...
I'm going back to england in easter, going back to visit relatives and to follow up on school interviews.
I'm watching liverpool vs arsenal, April 18th.
I'll get some pictures up after the game.
when i was back from england in the summer, i posted pictures of the first home game,
liverpool vs boro'.

& corez :
Tickets aren't that difficult to get, but i guess i'm lucky because my uncle has good connections for football tickets, as his company has a box at the emirates, and he has many scouse friends.
Normal tickets go for about 35 to 40 quid for liverpool matches,
tickets for london-based teams are a bit more expensive.
= )

I don't think as i can go as far as getting tickets for people here, because i get them through my uncle... sorry lads.
It is difficult to get tickets for big games i guess, but not impossible, the key is to plan very early and visit the ticket office on the morning it opens for sale of your game (about 8 - 10 days before the game).
