Just bought a 8GB iPhone 3G last week. Just now when i'm syncing it to my laptop to install some applications, the iTunes & the iPhone suddenly went hang. I havent perform any jailbreaking, so i can say that my set is relatively a virgin set. been waiting for about 30 minutes now, still nothing..
so any experts out there that can help me solve this problem. is there any way or button that i can reset the phone? or i just have to wait until the battery wear out. Help! |

Seems like fw2.2.1 and iTunes have a problem. You can read from link below for the remedy.

My colleagues hanged too.... Is AT&T set Ver 2.2
This morning her 2yr old, play with the phone on the table and when look at the screen, its the apple logo. And she tried hard reset but still stuck. Ironically i helped her solve another problem just only yesterday. (Sim Lock Problem that caused the phone unable to detect service) HELP T.T |

QUOTE(rattan @ Feb 11 2009, 03:09 AM) im having problem with my iphone 2g v1.1.4 , sometimes it suddenly shows "No Service" , then it goes to "NO SIM" I would suggest fiddling around with ur sim card slot, maybe its loose or something, cause 1.1.4 imo its the most stable firmware compared to latest versions.. at least sms-ing don't lag on me why isit so ? when this happens i have to restart the phone several times.. sometimes its so bad... until ill hv to turn off the phone for a few minutes then turn it on back. why isit so ? And, isn't network are related to the baseband ? And seeing apple hasn't update the baseband of the iphone 2g for quite sometime, isn't updating the firmware is useless? seeing that the baseband are retained |
