Comprehensive reports/feedbacks regarding usage of the proxy server on my first day getting it. On to the tests...
Test Setup:Computer setting: F8sv notebook series by Asus
Operating System: Window Vista 32bit
Type of Broadband: TMNet Streamyx 1mbps - Streamyx has being shitty on me lately since I were unable to get my "best IP" for WoW. Everything is 115.xxx.xxx.xxx nowadays and this 115 IP was the worst IP (for WoW purposes at least) and now the only one. I'm open to suggestion for what kind of tests I should do next.

Socks5 Proxy server:Used on World of Warcraft created by Activision Blizzard (patch 3.0.9) by using SocksCap software made by Permeo Technologies, Inc (version 2.40). All the tests are done on an Oceanic server though the physical location of the server is somewhere in California US.
Test No: 1

IP head when connected: 115.133.xxx.xxx
Realm: Aman'thul
Test Day: Friday
Time of Test: 10:00 to 10:35p.m (+8 GMT/Malaysian time)
Stress type of test: Used in raid setting (Heroic Vault of Acrhavon)
No Proxy Results: None
Proxy Results: Initial logging 350ms and fluctuates up to 485ms but averages out later around 400ms even during combat with Archavon, the Stone Watcher.
Comments: This test lacks of a comprehensive comparison with the same fight without the usage of the proxy. This test is also done out of the peak period of the server.
Test No:2

IP head when connected: 115.133.xxx.xxx
Realm: Aman'thul
Test Day: Saturday
Time of Test: 12:10 to 12:44a.m (+8 GMT/Malaysian Time)
Stress type of test: mainly AFK'ing in Orgrimmar (Horde main city)
No Proxy Results: Unable to get initial logging info due to it showing 0ms and then jumps up to 1100ms and fluctuates around that.
Proxy Results: Initial logging of 285ms and stabilize around 390ms. The highest that I recorded was 401ms
Comments: The highest recorded was gotten through my interval checkup and I may have missed some that occur outside that period.
Test No: 3

IP head when connected: 115.133.xxx.xxx
Realm: Aman'thul
Test Day: Saturday
Time of Test: 12:45 to 1:13a.m(Initiates right after test 2 for with Proxy)
Stress type of test: Fly using the automated Flightmaster from Dalaran to River's Heart in Sholazar Basin
No Proxy Results: (Somehow the latency average is 700ms at this period instead of 1100ms from the Test No.2 before albeit in different places) The latency was 677ms when I initiated flying. When flying through Icecrown the latency stabilize around 800ms. And in Sholazar Basin the latency was around 750ms and 716ms at landing in River's Heart. A few minutes afterwards the latency was stabilizing at around 720ms.
Proxy Results: When I initiates flying, it started with 606ms and through Icecrown the latency stabilize at 615ms though at certain points jump high nearing 670ms. After a few minutes of landing the latency shot down back to 404ms.
Comments: No idea why the proxy jumps high in latency when on flight. Must be a lag spike probably. or just horrible luck

. This will be re-test soon.
Initial Impression/Comments for Online Gaming: This proxy server seems to work well so far. I need to do more raid environment stress tests. But my guild only raids on Wednesday/Thursday since we finish up all the current raiding content early. I'll try do more tests in raid next week.
Initial Impression/Comments for HTTP Proxy Server and Web Surfing: Hmm, it was working just fine initially (around 8pm to 10pm Friday) but some errors was occuring at 1:45a.m Saturday (+8 GMT/Malaysian Time) saying "502 Bad Gateway" which can be rectify by spamming refresh button. This 502 problem occurs when I was surfing my Guild website and to a lesser extent LYN forum itself. Tests on online video streaming will be done soon! -need to get a digital stopwatch

oh and probably tests on direct HTTP downloads.
Initial Impression/Comments for BitTorrent and/or P2P download: I only have tested downloading J-Drama which are not latest by any means thus have low seeder/leecher count which results in almost the same with or without the proxy server (I use Socks5). BitTorrent tests is a lower priority to me since I'm more towards Online Gaming (WoW forum...duh

)
p/s: Is uploading screenshots of the latency is allowed in LYN forum? I got screenshots to prove all the tests above and if it is needed I can mail them/post them here. And should I do a comparison of GamePath and this alternative proxy server? Took me awhile to do this stuff...time to sleep, so I'll reply back tomorrow if anyone has any inquiries.
Hi, can you use "Proxifier" instead of freecap or sockscap for windows vista. As I tested vista using those 2 socks client but it doenst actually proxify your connection. Proxifier is working fine on this.
i had try on that by using freecap, but once i put wow.exe, my computer hangs,
using launcher Run was fine, but i donno my ms was goign good or bad,
non proxy = 700-800ms
proxy = 500ms
btw i stay in pg, using 60.48.xx.xx ip ~
still want to double check yet. thanks
Hi, I understand you are using vista OS. Please try to use "Proxifier" instead of freecap or sockscap.
i try to connect but disconnected instantly, i can saw the ping is 9999 from the ss i attached. issit the main cause? i already delete the port 2000 entry..
Are you using Vista. If yes. Please use "Proxifier" version 2.7. Less problem.
