It SHOULD be free.
I know some shops charge but that's illegal. Or even after you submit the form you are not sure whether they will help you or not.
So it's best to go to the maxis center available mostly everywhere now.
*
There has been complaint that even authorized dealer are charging. I actually fully understood why do they charge.

sorry maybe i miss that but last month i reload RM10 i did get the points.

of course it effect bodowi because to build tower they need permission from the government , everything business ppl wanna do it requires permission from the government fo approval.

Bodowi have so many shares in celcom, maxis and many many type of business even PERODUA.

Look at petrol price bodowi say price petrol increase all increase. So he could even have the power in maxis or other telco

How come 500 points for RM10 reload? I don't think you can get that much points for that small amount. You only get points when you talk with people on the phone longer.
*
HotlinkGift. I always get those sms. I always reload when they reward me. Rewards like below

1. Reload min RM10 and get 600 points (successful)
2. Reload min RM10 and get RM5 extra (successful)
3. Reload min RM10 and get RM10 extra (successful)
4. Buy RM1 for 200 sms (successful)
etc

Normally if you want these type of promo you need to have another hotlink number that seldom reload one. Active line usually very-very seldom they send hotlinkgift message. When that 2nd number get reward then only you do a credit transfer to your main number. That day my 2nd number get 1 sms told me to reload min Rm5 get free Rm12,i quickly load up Rm5 then wait for 5 days i get my Rm12 thumbup.gif
*
TuanKing, that's the answer.
eddievh: Thanks for helping to reply biggrin.gif

Btw, I receive my 500 points already. They sms me just now informing me. rclxm9.gif
But damn, now they are forcing me to reload again. HotlinkGift sms me to reload RM10 and get RM5 extra. doh.gif

I got a few questions here :

1. How to subscribe to hotlink 365 plan?
2. How do you pay the RM33 fee? Subtracted from credit?
3. Is it true if I subscribe to the plan, I will get nothing after reload?

btw,
just now got SMS from Hotlink, they said if reload min RM10 will get free 500 reward points rclxm9.gif
*
1. *100# and reload RM30 More info HERE
2. Yes, deduct from your credit.
3. Most probably. Cause your account validity is not expired, so no point for them to force you to reload. Hotlinkgift focusing on people that did not reload long time ago and validity expired

Bro david83, what i know is that this Get More XXXX thing offered by hotlink recently is the same old thing. Hotlink is really running out of ideas!
*
Nah! There is still plenty of ideas. Just that they doesn't want to do it. Let me show some example idea, that I currently using the prepaid in Singapore.

1. Reload s$28, get s$128 total credit. s$100 for local call, s$28 for international call.
2. SMS 5 local, free 10 local sms
3. SMS 5 international, free 50 international sms.

Just 3 example, do you think they can do it?

That's why Malaysia technologies always lose with other countries.

nah...i never dream Maxi$ will do tat.
free credits i dont think they will gv more than a few bucks
even free SMSes we hv to topup of certain amount 1st, then only we will get d free SMSes

perhaps competition between telcos in S'pore is very high?
*
Not really actually. As I said, depends on telecos whether they want to offer a not.
In Singapore have 3 telecos, in Malaysia also have 3 telecos.
If 1 teleco not moving, the other 2 telecos will just remain the same.
1 example. Singtel offering iPhone. Pretty sure Starhub and M1 will follow the footstep already, just a little late only.

Okay, let's not talk about calling/sms rate... Let's just talk about broadband. Singapore and Malaysia introduce adsl and the same broadband speed packages. Now? Malaysia just upgrade a little more to 4mbps? And Singapore now having 100mbps quite some time already.

Because all three (or should be four but exclude UMobile) telcos in M'sia got a balance amount of customers.
Rate will only be lower if seeing for example another competitorA getting all the customers while competitorB & C try frantically to grab them by offering lower rates.

In my opinion, maxis postpaid rate is the lowest currently but I wander why everybody prefer Digi now.
Postpaid active 10 call rates: 8 cents/min          sms: 1cent
(Where else can you find such rates?)  thumbup.gif

So come port to maxis now!  icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Not applicable to business/sales person. They don't have just 10 fixed number to call. laugh.gif
