So, what is your definition of the Perfect Goal? My definition of the Perfect goal is of course the long-range curler. The most wicked goal for me, was scored by Maniche in Euro 2004 against Holland.
Share your definition here. I would like to know what kind of goals that football freaks in Lyn love.
Please keep this thread clean, no condemning other clubs please. No such thing as "My team is better than your team" bs. Respect others if you want to be respected.
To me I find it orgasmic when a beautiful move is completed with the ball in the back of the net. Finish doesn't have to be flashy. A smooth one-two pass like the Rooney-Tevez one last season against Boro would do it. Great play between the two, with Tevez slotting it in easily after Rooney's backheel found him with no markers. And that Berba skill this season against West Ham was outrageous.
aahh this is very hard. can i choose more than one?
few that i remember,
ronaldo's FK against portsmouth last season gerrard's FK against AV last season roberto carlos' FK against england if im not mistaken and berba's flick against west ham this season

I'd put Ronaldo and Rooney's one-two counter attack against Bolton at home in 06/07 ahead of that one. Started off from a Bolton corner, cleared to Ronaldo who was just outside the box, plays it off to Rooney who lays it off back to Ronaldo. Ronaldo burst thru the middle pst a few players with Rooney following on his left and lays it off to Rooney just inside the Bolton box, Jaaskelainen comes out and Rooney lifts it over him. Excellent goal that. Counter attacking at it's best.
Ah yes. That one springs back to mind. The Rooney-Tevez one was more memorable to me becoz earlier ppl were saying how both of them were to alike and that they could never play together. Shut them up right there with that goal.
I can't remember when Barca had a match with Oviedo Quite surprised that you know a club named Oviedo also
Edited: My most favourite goal is the one that Zidane scored against Leverkusen during a Final UCL match (forget which year though ) That one shot had true venom in it

WHen i was going thru this new thread, this was the goal i had in mind and was about to talk about it too. This would be the perfect goal for me. Good short passing with lots of penetration and then goal. I'm a sucker for intricate passing game, the type of football that Arsenal, Man Utd, Barcelona play.
pele against sweden from ol' skool!: all of maradona's goal in mexico wc 86! ryan giggs weaved thru the gunners..... most of henry's solo run to goal..... messi's solo run....
i kinda like what i saw in yohan gourchuff of bordeaux too. he remind me of zidane!
