Hi, I am looking for some help here. I am going to the Assessment Center in BAT for a full day session. The position I am applying for is a managerial position.

I want to do some preparation before going, but have very limited information on what actually happens there. I am looking for :

- Structure of the whole day session.
- Any type questions or exercises that I can get, just to get the feeling on how actually works.
- Any literature that have helped you to better prepare for the session.

any help is appreciated.

cheers

It's trainnee i think.
If you are going to interview this position, there is nothing you can prepare. But make sure that u have enough sleep and energy for the accessment. Whole day will be presenting, interview, analyze, and meeting. Good luck to you dude.

P/s: Don't eat too full, they will provide you, LOL.

I had gone through assessment conducted by RHB for management associate program. So have a little experience..

stratetgy for conquering the game =

1) be yourself and enjoy the game. If you treat it too seriously and keep thinking about losing or others' strengths, then you are gonna lose as your nervousness tends to show up.

2) for presentation, it is a norm for presenting spontaneously or having limited time for preparation. Dont panic . Structure your points and make sure they are interesting and creative. A good presentation should have relevance, be structured and interesing.

3) for group exercise, the observer is likely looking for the following:
1) enthusiastic participation in discussion
2) willingness to take on a leadership role
3) evidence of thinking problems through
4) ability to listen to, and communicate with others
5) flexibility and the ability to change direction at short notice and accept different views.

Good luck. Enjoy yourself there.

Who's going to the group session on the 24th March at 8.30am? I have a Shell Recruitment Day exactly the day before. I'm praying I won't be drained out for BAT
