How was the verbal and numerical test, was it hard to pass? Do you need to be naturally smart or just do enough online practice will do?

okay... doesn't sound that easy, especially when you're being put under pressure. verbal reasoning.... do they give things like comprehension? or those weird questions like "if A is 5 yrs old, and B is 2 times younger than A, how old is B?"

wish they will be people sharing on their interview experience with BAT. or maybe not many people got through?

leadership assessment has 2 parts:-
1.presentation
-case study about a product
-some decision-making kind of presentation
-have to persuade your audience about your decision

2.group discussion
-case study as well
-be as insightful and pointful as possible
-be supportive to other teammates
-be the person who writes things down.

Goodluck to you. And remember, you are not to slay others, but to help each other kay?

1.product??
Yes, a product, can be a tea of unknown brand.

2.u mean ask us sell thing like study a shampoo then sell present how we gonna sell the shampoo???
Not really. They can ask to present on theme like, should our company sell this product (eg. a new tea brand and why), but not oo much on things like how to sell it.

3.or give situation then how we gonna solve the situation??
Yes.

4.How long given to prepare for the presentation?
Forget, quite long though, ~1hr perhaps. 10 minute presentation.

5.U a management trainee of BAT?
no.

Hi, everybody I am new here. Came across this forum while searching various jobs and I think its great for sharing information on different jobs and also warning about scam jobs.

Anyways, I was wondering whether anyone knows how many people BAT will intake for their management trainee program every year? I just had the phone interview earlier today but I guess I was too nervous and forgot to ask the interviewer.

The reason I am asking is because I have an offer from another company and I would have to reject that offer if I make an attempt for this job. Can anyone here just give me an idea of how many people make it to the final stage and how many people are hired after that?

no way to practice, just be well rested before the test, verbal test is usually ask you to read a passage and then ask you a question to see your understanding of the passage. for the numerical test, they usually give you a passage with some info, and ask you to do some calculations based on a case....

good luck !

prior profit = rm2.50
revised profit = rm6.2

total profit in a month = rm525 (rm2.50)
total profit in a month = rm1575 (rm6.2)

% difference = (1575-525)/525*100 = 200%

all the best! tongue.gif

Well this wasn't directed to me but I will still answer it (thick face lol)

1. I applied about three weeks ago when I received the email from HR (it's kinda weird that she sent a mass email to everyone)
2. Master of Engineering
3. Refer to (1), I sent it directly to the HR.

On a side note, is anyone attending the 2nd round of interview this coming Wednesday? PM to discuss nod.gif
