thanks for ur reply hirari,
im a degree graduate in aerospace engg.. The way I see it, I have 2 options if i wanna do a/c maintenance: a) APR is offering TAME for 3 yrs (which I assume gives LWTR if I pass da exam at the end of da 3rd year) or B) Join MIAT EASA program n get their approval. (2 years study + 2 years work schedule)
The APR course is shorter period compared to MIAT. Can DCA LWTR be converted to EASA license? whats da process? i think oni midle east recognize DCA LWTR rite?
if DCA LWTR can be converted to EASA, i better join APR, shorter period..lolz

i wanna ask the same questions as NewSauce. a) those who r in demand r experienced n skilled ones, how bout fresh lwtr holders?? is the industry gonna absorb us?? what position r they given in da industry? what bout salary range? b) since an engineers' salary is based on the type ratings he got.. what r the most popular type ratings, the ones that can earn big buxs?? i juz wanna be sure b4 i take up this ciurse
