MAS JT training will b 2 years.then after that , u'll b working, earning a ur own income whilst gaining experience working at aircraft.During this time, u can apply for LWTR.

As for MIAT, u can study more to prepare for your LWTR.

hw much can u earn as a MAS JT??..

I think one of the main reason that people are going overseas to study this course is because they wanted to study in a part147 institution which doesn't exists in malaysia. In other words, they can obtain the license faster than doing it locally. Not to mention, not everyone get the opportunity to join a airline sponsored programme.
I have a question here, you said that "not many who graduate with a diploma/degree in ac maintenance are doing well", does this include those who studied this course locally? such as nilai, miat, tafe etc.

ur rite atually...people go to uk eg: uni of glamorgan because it is a EASA part 147 institution...
so any1 can tell me more about glamorgan and if i do A-levels in malaysia and continue my degree in AME at glamorgan, is it ok?...
coz my mara spc interview is on wednesday so i need to set my specifix study plan coz im very interested to be a LAME....hehehe... icon_idea.gif biggrin.gif cool.gif
