just want to say thanks to the OP for such detailed guide on jailbreaking. Enjoying my unleashed ipod touch 2G now. Funny thing though I ended up disabling themes and just used the original one. Mxtube rocks! I'll need to learn more on SSH and Mobile Terminal. Most linux commands don't seem to work, not even ping. Still need to keep looking what other awesome and legal apps on cydia.

just noticed something. Sometimes, when we exit to home screen from an app, instead of the exit animation where the app zooms out smoothly the screen just changes back to the home screen. This usually happens after a memory consuming app is run.

Is this normal ?

I just did mine on 0.7.2. No problems. Can anyone tell me how to get ping working on mobile terminal ?
