hmm cud it be that u need to free some of ur memory.. using a free memory app? sometimes whn my ipod responds slower than usual, i try to free some of the memory, then it returns to normal. or u cud try rebooting ur ipod.

hmm weird.. perhaps d last resort is erase/format everything and reinstall ur firmware/jailbrake? whn i first gt my ipod also, felt as though it wsnt smooth n needed 2 erase everything (which d ipod warned me it took an hour for it) but after that, no more probs, smooth..

took awhile to dload but alhamdulillah.. successfully upgraded n jailbroken 3.0 (thanks for all the tutorials guys) now back to work, or else boss notice..

hmm just wondering.. is there a thread to discuss what/which bluetooth devices are compatible with the new 3.0 OS? from what i've read, currently only bluetooth headsets are connectable but not phones/laptops/etc for the ipod touch.. is this true?

perhaps the previous 2.2.1 firmware wasnt stable enough to handle bluetooth operations..

neway it took me a while to jb since i was still in d office just now, but apparently this time was an easier jb process than the previous. im extremely relieved dat this version fixed the unusual quit process, long boot time, and overall smoother usage like it was in 2.1.1

bro, im not sure whether it was just my luck, but what i did was after i created the custom firmware on a Mac, i copy that .ipsw file to Windows via thumbdrive.. then, i just shift+restore my current 3.0 jb to the custom firmware via iTunes.. few minutes later, it's done! there's cydia, icy (removed it after i installed cydelete).. even sbsettings works too..

but.. i DONT RECOMMEND this method due to it didnt work on my sis's ipod, and she lost all her apps n data.. had to d'grade to 3.0, redsnow it, and restored via iTunes (thank god she backed up earlier) didnt jb 3.1.1 bcoz she scared to try again.. hehe

i wud if i could, but it's not mine.. only got a few minutes to use for creating d custom firmware, dunno how long it wud take to jb.. d mac owner wanna go home alrdy

just updated my ipt2g firmware to 3.1.3 via itunes.. now jb-ing (according to redmond pie's tutorial) via redsn0w 0.9.4 in progress.. hope evrythin goes well..

updated n jb'ed 3.1.3 with success! all my jb apps work.. gonna test d batt life these few days, compare it with prev firmware..

re-explained:
previously my ipt2g was on 3.1.2 jb.. not so many apps/games/songs.. so i decided to UPDATE to 3.1.3 via iTunes, regardless if the apps were gone later or not, can reinstall them again rite?

once updated, all the apps n games r still there.. just cant access them bcoz not jb yet.. except for the free ones la.

then i jb via redsnow 0.9.4.. restarted afterwards. done!

u can do it manually if u have d spare time.. usually i open up any mp3s via Aimp Player @ Winamp.. then go into the song info, then add the album art.. where u find d album art is via google images, usually in square sized, it doesnt really matter.. attach that image and save ur mp3.. now d song has an album art oh yeah, u can also add lyrics too..
