i need a bit explanation on a few things then tmr i'll jailbreak my sis's ipod touch 2G
what is untethered and tethered? i tried to googled untethered jailbreak, it says

"An untethered jailbreak is a jailbreak where your device does not require you to reboot with a connection to an external device capable of executing commands on the device."

so what's the advantages of untethered over tethered? and i'm not sure what firmware my sis's ipod is running on, does that affect the result of jb?

and finally i notice there's a lot of jb tools out there, from what i read in this thread got redsnow, blackra1n, from what i've googled got quickpwn and pwnagetool
