Hey guys,i am going out to buy a new ipod touch 2nd gen 8GB model by this 15th of april,
I was also planning to jailbreak it on the day i buy it ... But here's the thing...
I was checking out wikipedia about jailbreak cause i dont know much about it...

and THIS is what i found :-

Jailbreakable Firmware
iPod Touch 2nd Generation (non-MC model) Yes[13] 2.1.1 - 3.1.3

iPod Touch 2nd generation (8GB MC model) Yes (tethered) 3.1 - 3.1.2

And i see that the "MC" Model can only do a tethered jailbreak...that aint good ,
What is this MC model!? ... How to check whether im buying the non-MC or MC model??

Im afraid i'll accidentally buy the MC model

hey guys..just a quick question,if i jailbreak my ipod touch,can i still sync and install apps from the appstore like normal?

I dont think u can jailbreak the "mc" model for now...
