QUOTE(Playboy21 @ Apr 3 2009, 02:28 PM) bryanyeo, i just tested it (the main page of it), and it's really awesome. Really simple to use, and yea, it's pretty much as good as QuickFreedom, or maybe even better i should say. It's just a little unresponsive at times where the Mac loading circle would pop up, but other than that, it's pretty neatly done. It also has a DFU mode counter similar to the one on QuickFreedom, but it's much easier to follow the counter on Untetherizer. Oh yea, when attempting to close a menu etc, it lags a bit. Hope that helps mate. K, thx for the test bro. So overall is good, just a bit lag?

First, download Quickfreedom 1.2 or Redtool 1.0 if you are using windows or untetherizer if you are using a mac.
Then, follow the instruction inside

@apple_ylc Redtool and Quickfreedom do the same job, just different program by different dev for the same purpose: Jailbreak ipod touch 2G
@fizz6487 If anything happens, erase everything, restore to the original firmware

QUOTE(Playboy21 @ Apr 10 2009, 11:23 PM) Emulators are totally legal, but file images like the .bios file and the roms( .nes, .gba , .gbc etc) aren't. I've got both those emulators as well. Mario on my iPod is lulz Correct. It is just like jailbreaking, programs like quickfreedom and redtool are legal, but downloading patched ipsw created by those programs are illegal Added on April 11, 2009, 10:25 amUpdate: Redsn0w beta by dev-team released.
