U guys should try it.. It's very nice.. The best thing is dat it can rotate ur scereen to the right aswell instead of left only.. =p

The problem ur facing is normal.. as for my sony ericsson also same.. I think it happens to all symbian phone.. wat u have to do is restart ur phone.. when u switch on ur phone let it load 1st.. Now try to go into ur image file and view.. Everything will be back to normal..
Btw, every N85 user seems to have problem with the Light Sensor.. Light sensor not functioning right? What I discover today is due to Your LIGHT SENSOR SENSITIVITY.. With or without the protector still it works fine.. Go to ur phone setting > general > personalisation > display > light sensor. Try adjust the light sensor to lower light instead of maximum.. Press okay after that then try under bright light and see the different when you cover the light sensor with ur finger.. Have to wait few second before it change.. For SE phone you can see the light will go darker slowly.. For Nokia phone it will just go darker after few second.. Hope this can solve the Light Sensor issue.. P/s Signing application problem is solve for now I love my N85 even more!! |

QUOTE(sakpn2000 @ Feb 21 2009, 03:28 PM) hey guys and for the song's rite.. can i know how many song u have in ur memory card??so many ppl selling off their N85 recently.... this is such a nice phone. y selling? do u all face these problems: 1) whn u view ur pics, suddenly the files seems to be corrupted and all pics became blurry? 2) after stop the music player, the nxt time u 1 2 use it, it hangs. need to restart the phone n listen song 1 again. u try to refresh the whole list 1st then u try again.. if the problem still continue recheck all ur songs format.. make sure every song format is in mp3 as for video if u are using ur N85 to watch movie try convert it to mp4 format.. Added on February 21, 2009, 7:12 pm QUOTE(MyKy44 @ Feb 21 2009, 01:14 PM) oh.. ok. so where/how to get them? Okay as for GPS system right.. The locking time depends actually.. I'm using a GPS device myself.. The locking will be much faster if the distance from the previous position is nearer.. If you have move too far away from the previous position then the locking time will be longer.. I used it when I drive to places that I'm unfamiliar with. It's very useful to avoid heavy traffic because it will lead you to small road sometimes which U dont know the existence of it, especially in KL area.. the optimum angle is at wat? 45~50 degrees ar? so if 45 then no need kacau ady is it? i think the GPS takes less time if u're not far away from your previous position of locking in. When i got back home at klang, it took the GPS awhile to lock in again. AFter that it usually take less than 1 minute for locking in This post has been edited by leoboa6: Feb 21 2009, 07:12 PM |

it is related.. okay, from comment sense la.. if it's too bright how if to go brighter when the surrounding light is even brighter and lower light from surrounding it maintain the same due to the settings.. not like SE phone it will adjust by itself.. i notice it today when i was replying sms when i was walking under hot sunny day.. it works thou.. note that the surrounding light must be brighter than the background light.. heh..

i set it to middle.. if u wanna see the effect more then set it low 1level below middle.. when the light is too low it remain unchanged.. only if the light is very bright it turns brighter.. Not as effective as SE phone la.. Not that sensitive or maybe it is meant to be that way.. Hmmm...

Overall N85 is good phone ler.. For the keypad it really depends for SE phone is W850i I'm still having that phone with me and still the keypad crack thou i laready change it twice.. If your going for camera phone SE will be the choice.. Nokia only win on the application and display.. N85 camera for a 5megapixel not that good.. Still it's acceptable if your not a CAMERA HEAVY user.. I'm not very satisfied on my camera. But still acceptable under brighter light resolution.. Low light resolution equals to BAD picture.. For video recording it is much better compare to other phone etc; Sony Ericsson, HTC, and other model.. Still IMAGE still got alot to progress on firm ware.. The lense it self is very good.. Nokia have upgrade alot on the firm ware maybe a little on the hard ware.. N85 overall is the best phone you can ever find for NOKIA.. The OLED display wins all of other manufacturer out there.. Unless for camera pro not advisable..
P/S Up to 2009 there will still be no PERFECT phone.. Life is not that perfect anyway.. U can only choose only 1. Camera or overall performance.. Battery life span is way much longer than any other phone manufacturer out there. Listening music thru BLUETOOTH STEREO HEAD SET LAST MORE THAN 5 hours.. Compare this with other phone.. I'm upgrading to BLUETOOTH STEREO HEADPHONE soon.. Any recommendation? =p This post has been edited by leoboa6: Feb 23 2009, 01:41 AM |

Restart usually help.. I restart my phone many times before.. Just that symbian phone it's like computer.. Some computer when U leave it on for too long than it will slow down and stuff.. After you restart it everything run smoothly.. Restart works wonder.. At least I don't have to Take out the battery like previous model. =p
