i think the rm6 skool brand is enough already if u just want to protect the screen. If you want to get the invisible shield, make sure u get the full-body one which costs rm60-80 and that will really help.

actually the iPhone can get boring really fast (i'm an iPhone 3G and 5800 user myself) since the OS is pretty limit such as cannot send/receive files through bluetooth, hassle to use custom ring/message tone, lack of a proper GPS navigation software, etc etc.

i've also seen my fren traded in his iPhone 2G for a 5800 (1-to-1 trade, no top-up). he's very happy with his 5800 now. laugh.gif

but one thing i have to say, the iPhone's camera even though 2MP only, has much less noise than the 5800's 3.2MP carl-zeiss camera.  sweat.gif

what you said about the camera is true, I tried it even though it doesn't have autofocus. Much better than 5800's.

but gps?? me and my fren both whipped out our phones and tried connecting to gps..5800's gps receiver couldn't receive anything but iphone one got connected right away! we tried it on a wet weather. He was using google map though..seems like got offline version for iphone but not 5800 tongue.gif

for the bluetooth part..u're right too..we had 5 frens trading pictures that nite..while he just couldn't join the fun biggrin.gif

haha. the iPhone's GPS is good, but the software implementation just isn't there for offline GPS navigation. for navigation, there is only Google Maps and u need an unlimited 3G/Edge plan if u want to use it without blowing a hole in your wallet. lol. so in this case, the 5800 wins, since now Garmin Mobile XT can work on the 5800 with a virtual key software.

yes the bluetooth thing is really dumb. even if the iPhone could send/receive files, i guess cannot even use those music files immediately as ring/sms tones since Apple has made everything to be pirate-proof etc. lol.

lol...i don't have iphone, but u can check this out for offline google : http://www.joesonic.com/blog/2008/04/14/go...ine-for-iphone/

whats your iphone condition if u're seriously wanting to trade??
