I prefer dense straight fur for poodles, because after groom they look very nice. Its really nicer to have "straight" fur for grooming. The result is much much nicer. I have groomed a few champion & show poodle before (I mean I just practicing grooming on them, not grooming them for show) and most of them having straight fur. They turn out very nice comparing those with curly hair.
Most curly type poodle are more desirable pet type, because they looks cuter when they are curly. To me, I prefer them straight and fluff. So whenever I comb Lexus (it turns straight and fluffy) my mom will complains... because she likes curly. |

Teeth... can determine the age of the puppy. Generally the teeth changes when the puppy is 4-5 months old. Some puppy teeth will stay (not yet fall), but you should see adult teeth growing after 4-5 months old. Like what Sinv said, 2 sets of teeth... If there is no adult teeth, perhaps the puppy is still young
