QUOTE(pcboy @ Apr 2 2009, 11:04 AM) it is recommended by the author but in my case i didn't perform hard reset... the reason why it's recommended to perform hard reset it just simply 'clean up' the bad/conflicting registry...but in my case, i'm aware what's going on in and out of every single registry...so no problem here. QUOTE(antipoison @ Apr 2 2009, 02:51 PM) QUOTE(Baronic @ Apr 2 2009, 08:22 PM) Added on April 2, 2009, 8:25 pm@oldnewspaper, u using Rhodium? lol, i tried it last month, and switched back. hated it, still a few very important bugs. what especially irks me is the sms system. now TF3D has its own way to reply sms and accidentally changing tab or closing it, your message doesnt go into drafts!!!! also a lot of the stuff still are a bit misalligned. switched back to the ori TF3D the reason you have those issue probably due to the custom rom bug itself? or probably you tried the initial beta release of this TF3D 2 without any fix release yet at that time... i'm 100% satisfied with this....and with the anticipated upcoming Topaz phone canvas....hmmm....simply gorgeous ! |

@antipoison
@partycoke 1. internet new push page - you need this fix, get it HERE ! 2. new task bar icon? ![]() - install this, HERE ! 3. 'bottom bar onli show "all programs' in all the sections' - i don't have this issue at all, probably you need to drop a message in xda thread for assistant 4. Rhodium TF3D consume more battery? - hmm....maybe....but not that i'm aware of, i could still manage get it running for at least 2 1/2 days before charging |

QUOTE(antipoison @ Apr 3 2009, 11:43 PM) the push internet is in zip file... use winzip or winrar to extract the cab out....then copy the cab file to your device...how to make it to cab? and the weather update problem? it keep on restart the TF3d nope , i have no weather updating problem.....and it doesn't restart the TF3D..... QUOTE(Baronic @ Apr 4 2009, 12:03 AM) @oldnewspaper, when typing a sms using TF3D RHodium, when u close, does it save in drafts? I used the first version, i havent tested 1C but i didnt see it fixed under the fix list so i havent tried it. plus i already pimp my pda so i really malas to do again lol. but holidays now, so wanna hear from u, maybe i;ll do it. also, are the icons when u are scrolling TF3D2 still lower compared to TF3D? (its caused by the fact that its meant for WVGA, makes it UGLY IMHO) when i close the unsend sms message, it always prompt me whether want to save as draft or not.....and yes it's working fine in my casescrolling TF3D2 slower ? hmm....mine is as smooth as the default TF3D... here's another few minor bug found in this Rhodium TF3D 2 1. as antipoison mentioned earlier - the contact finder alphabet [ it's show only half ] but it's still usable.... 2. whenever launching this TF3D 2, the onscreen keyboard always pop up then disappear.... even with those minor bug, IT DOESN'T affect the functionality or the performance of system or the TF3D itself... Additional Note : New Windows Live Search (Plus Messenger) is available for download, it seem has quite interesting new feature....for more info check it out HERE ! QUOTE(antipoison @ Apr 4 2009, 12:21 AM) hmm....seem like you're having quite a few issue here and there....maybe i suggest you to shift to custom cooked rom? try EnergyROM Series 2.0 21042 - Final Rhodium Manila [Build 40209]...so far this seem to best rom with the new TF3D 2 feature....for me, i still prefer stock rom for stability the only advantage of custom cooked rom with TF3D 2 over official rom with TF3D 2 - you save some device memory ! |

QUOTE(booooster @ Apr 4 2009, 04:00 PM) I noticed tat higher RAM usage takes up more battery even though I've no open applications is this true? in a way yes.....less memory [ higher ram usage ] may indicate your device is running more services and processes at startup and potentially slow down your system with CPU spikes and may even drain your battery.thanks ya QUOTE(tengyean @ Apr 4 2009, 10:02 PM) Thanks pcboy for your clear explanation.So you did the rhodium with stock rom.NO issues??Like lagging or suddenly batt become power hungry or etc. it will not work if install in the storage card as most of the files needed will reside in the windows / registryI'm actually quite keen to changed the boring default outlook.Can it be installed to the storage card?? QUOTE(Baronic @ Apr 4 2009, 10:03 PM) @oldnewspaper, no wor, just flashed energy, still doesnt save to drafts lol. i mean the TF3D2's sms reply system itself u know? i guess it's the rom bug itself....LOL.....nothing to do with TF3D 2 issueand i meant LOWER not SLOWER. u know, when u scrolling the tab, there's a black curtain with the icon in the centre of your device, which changes as you scroll? i believe rhodium is not centred but lower, towards the bottom, probably cuz its meant for WVGA. confirm or deny? here's some screenshot to clear your doubt.... sms draft; ![]() ![]() black curtain; ![]() ![]() i guess it's time for you to revert back to official rom d Added on April 4, 2009, 11:25 pm QUOTE(endless88 @ Apr 4 2009, 11:14 PM) fellow bros, no hard spl needed in this case.....don't worry, this will not brick your TP... not sure if you guys came across this. if we were to download the ori htc roms from htc australia website, do we need to hardspl first? or its only needed for custom roms? reasom i'm downloading from aussie website is because mine is ap set and i have checked my rom, it is indeed aussie rom. any bros can advise? QUOTE(tengyean @ Apr 9 2009, 03:13 AM) Ok i try to un installes my MobileMatt FuzeBerry II TF3D Rhodium Edirion according to this here's some insight info regarding the issue you're facing...To all the fans of the FuzeBerry around the world CAB Install: 1. Disable TouchFlo 3D in phone Settings\Today\Items 2. Navigate to the cab file and click/run it, soft reset if not told to do so 3. Re-enable TouchFlo 3D in phone Settings\Today\Items 4. Go to TouchFlo 3D settings taband choose wallpaper To Uninstall: 1. Disable TouchFlo 3D in phone Settings\Today\Items 2. Go to phone Settings\System\Remove Programs and remove CAB file 3. Re-enable TouchFlo 3D in phone Settings\Today\Items But in my TP Remove programs,i cant find the above mentioned CAB file??? when installing XBmod manila Rhodium......do you still remember the very first cab file you need to install first ? yes, it's the xbmod policy.cab [that's the main culprit] this xbmod policy changes the 'behaviour/value' of the post-production security settings on application installation....why on earth this he wanted to do that?.....lol, it's just simple process to override the WM system to get your Rhodium manila installed... here's your current situation: 1. all application installed prior to this xbmod policy. cab installation will be shown in the removed programs 2. all application installed after the xbmod policy.cab installation WILL NOT be shown in the removed programs solutions: use any registry editor, go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Security > Policies > Policies > 00001005 and change the value to 24 [ decimal ] why change the value to 24? if you're curious about those figure....here's some info about it; » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « ok, even after changing the registry value....it doesn't solve you issue immediately....as i mentioned earlier, any application installed after the xbmod policy.cab will NOT be shown in the removed programs. this registry changes will only comes handy on future application installation [ which means any future application installation will start to be shown there...] all right....here's immediate solutions for your issue; [ after applying the above registry changes ] option 1 1. simply reinstall the MobileMatt FuzeBerry II TF3D Rhodium Edition [ this will override all the previous installation files ] - don't worry, it will not duplicate any 2. after reinstallation, you'll see this in the removed program 3. only now you can uninstall it... option 2 use this SK Tools software to remove the MobileMatt FuzeBerry II TF3D Rhodium Edition application....[ this option doesn't even need to go thru all the process above.... this is a great and powerful software tool which i highly recommended ! note: if you're not familiar with registry editing, refer HERE ! all stock/official rom user using XBmod Manila Rhodium, please take note of this too This post has been edited by old newspaper: Apr 9 2009, 09:07 AM |

alright here's the exciting part !
this is the 3D maps and it featuring building support ! ![]() ![]() since this is the 3D maps...the maps can be toggle in any angle ! [ and yes, the view can be toggle during the navigation too ! - meaning you can pan any angle view using the touch screen / using the navigation arrow even during the navigation is active ] ![]() ![]() ![]() others useful feature; you can preset the screen rotation mode before using it unlike the rest....... ![]() you can select your vehicle mode or even pedestrian mode too ! ![]() poi with telephone number ! - and yes it's working great ! ![]() others building sample.... ![]() ![]() the buildings are mainly available in KL area [ prominent building only for time being....but this will be added from time to time by the developer ] the main advantage of this over mapking / garmin; 1. it connect to the gps [locking] almost instantly ! 2. i didn't notice any lag using this ! seriously.... 3. easy and user friendly interface / functionality 4. much more feature than mapking / garmin... 5. it's 3D and with building support too ! etc etc go guess what gps navigation is this and i shall reveal it once i'm back from my trip |
