Why , its so hard to level up...
Ive been playing for hours still maintain level 5

it depends on your ranking end of each round. how many above you and how many below you. and the level of each player above and below you.
so if you are level 4 and get 1st in a match fulls of 15 and 16...you can level up even faster...
if you are level 4 and you get last in a match with level below you.. your level will drop..

I just went throught the worst Streamyx caused lag yet, in whole of Malaysia.

I register with a team in Tournament, join them and DC before the match starts.

Best part:

I join a CAP game in F.F. afterwards. Everyone is shooting the lag way (infinite ammo like - non-stop firing).

Plus everyone died like 10 seconds after I shoot them in the head. Same with me, I die like for no reason.

The kill status thing in the top left screen had the insane deaths where none of it happened.

Then I run the target and sit in the capture point. I sit there for god damn long, and the timer never decreases. Then I get killed and take a year to spawn again.

When I spawned finally, we win <.<

I see the score and see that I decreased the timer all the way from 30 to 0 seconds. Wtf session...

oooo, like that aaa.... no wonder last time i took only 5 hours to upgrade to level 3.

Now i see

Does skills needed when leveling up ?.. Let say i always use assault rifle, can also level up

use whatever skills u used to...fill up all those 4 slots... doesnt matter which skills u use when leveling..
things that matter when ur leveling is 1. your score 2. your rank each round

Nothing, just you dc and cant join back your team =\

If lets say your team gets to Best 8 and then you dc, you wont get the 1000RP reward for reaching that category.

If you reach the finals and win, but suddenly dc, your whole team gets the Champion prizes, but you wont get anything.

Makes you kinda sad you have streamyx as a ISP.

Same thing with quitting. You wont get anything.

getting dc from the konami servers is quite common,actually.
even for those in the states.

i was in a SNK with killaslimjim yesterday,got dc from host a couple of times,and he says even he goes through it.
says it's quite normal.

box head gear is until they start shut down the server for maintenance....TODAY!

this means tomorrow i can play again right.!

I dont understand why would they have server maintenance once a week. It is no doubt a disturbance that affects our gaming pattern. Servers as huge as Bungie's HALO 3 that can handle up to millions of people online, doesnt need to be maintained once a week. I don't even remember them having any large scale offline maintenance at all.

Jeez.
