Can i use any GC brand controller on WII, or must i buy the official controller

bought this item on 16.1.09
http://www.play-asia.com/paOS-13-71-23-49-en-70-2ola.html and received at my door step on 29.1.09... quite fast not to mention that week is cny... item received in good condition even the box is still solid...  |
