u can buy even the cap ayam brand and it works..only thing is the rumble effect is not very good. So if u're using cap ayam u must disable the rumble in the game

and one more thing, make sure u buy the mem card too for the GC game.

and is the classic controller for wii works on GC game play on wii?

Correct me if I'm wrong because I'm not exactly sure:
GC game must use GC controller
Wii games use Wiimote unless they give you the option to use others
VC games use classic controller

Some Wii game played better on GameCube Wavebird, for example Mario Kart Wii & NiGHTS Journey of Dreams.

GameCube game will only work on GC Wavebird, or other GC compatible controller,
it definitely will not work with Classic Controller.

I recall reading somewhere that gamecube controller can be use to play some VC games thought.

good luck finding gc controller at game outlet in KL (sw and loyat)

went looking for one before CNY. its either "sudah tak jual lagi" or if the shopkeepers too young to even know gamecube, he/she will be giving you that look like youre asking for a solar-powered dildo (and-oh-the-humour-when-they-reached-for-wiimote-jacket-or-nunchuk-outta-ignorance )

went back to my hometown in muar and alas, a shop is selling it. a 3rd party one for a whopping Rm60. no way in hell im buying that

I have that very same one, and it's pretty much crap. Smash Bros (Melee) was practically unplayable with the cheap stick. I ended up ordering a wavebird online, and later after that 2 wired ones. Naturally enough they all saw much use when brawl came out

cap ayam for GC controller is highly not recommended, i remember buying one from sg wang and the shoulder buttons were a bit dodgy.... had it replaced with an original controller from djinn and there's no looking back since then.

I'm going to buy a wavebird from lowyat seller, I heard that it has been one of the best controller made so far.

But it is costly, rm 120...couldn't find any cheaper 1

but my experience on it playing twin snakes, mario sunshine, RE0, RE1, metroid prime, rogue squadron, zelda windwaker, the buttons were great...the only problem was the rumble function keeps messing up the controls (so i had to turn it off).

So my advice..if ppl selling the ayam version for more than RM30..DON'T BUY IT. (Like the one in bebop's hometown) if less than that (And with a mem card summore...just take it)

This one is official one, no doubt it's good, I'm also using this one.
Too bad they don't sell the wavebird anymore eh? I prefer wireless nowadays.
