The Talk/Send, Left Navigation, Down Navigation, Home keys all failed within a day of using my TD after I bought it.

Took it in today to HTC service center at plaza berjaya in KL.....they replaced it with a new one for me as they classified it as a DOA (dead on arrival).....Hurray...!!!! I've never sent in my phones for service before, but HTC really rocks. Fortunately, it's not one of those cases where I've used it for some time, so it didn't take 3-4 days or even 2 weeks to get my phone back. Only took about an hour.

All thanks to Eric at HTC Care, KL. Super helpful, as it was originally gonna take 2 weeks to get a replacement. I had explained to him that I had to go outstation and needed the phone pretty badly. So, he pulled a few strings and got it ready in an hour. That's what I call good customer service. He even offered to let me use their wifi network to get some work done while I waited. The only thing missing was maybe a cup of coffee. I'm impressed....or maybe I'm just lucky.

Anyone else tried wm6.5 roms yet?

Would appreciate comments like previous posts regarding udk's 6.5. I'm thinking of trying out 6.5 roms, but hoping to find one that's not too buggy.

You can try makeveral's BSB version which is stable and receive good feedback. Or wait for NRGZ28's highly anticipated Energy series Rom.

Thanks for the suggestion. Managed to find NRGZ28's latest Energy series ROM available today. Will try it out.

Also tried UDK's wm6.5 rom previously....it does really leave you lots of ram available, and really seems to sip less on the battery as compared to ori HTC rom. I guess I will stick to titanium 6.5 roms from now on. TF3D is quite useful, but the negatives with it I can't accept.

For those who like original, clean rom, try aztor. It is fast, but quite a battery hunger. Remember to hard spl before u flash ur device.

I second using roms like aztor's.

Just to share my 2 cents. Keep in mind that this is just my experience and with just a limited number of roms tested, so it is in no way a complete and scientific report. I've tried about 6 different 6.5 roms within the last 2 weeks, found most of them a bit slow and resource hungry (compared to 6.1 roms like aztor). With the exception of udk and BsB's 6.5, the other 4 I tried were pretty bad. Not suited to the diamond. Unfortunately, udk no longer cooks rom for TD, and BsB tends to update so quickly, I have trouble trying to keep up (seems to update to new version every 2-3 days, LOL).

Those with TF3D2 seems to be very memory hungry, often ending up after 2 hours of moderate use with about 80% memory used, or more. The ones with titanium is less so, and seems, to me anyway, less power hungry too. Titanium is rather limited, compared to TF3D, but BsB has this extra people bar on his that makes it a lot easier for me to quickly dial my favorite contacts, so it's ok.
