One thing to remember, iTunes gift certs are taxed in places that have local sales tax.

NXaqua, yes you will have to use a US address. Apple wasn't doing any sort of checks previously to see if your address is valid, hopefully it's still the same now.
btw, Apple is limiting iTunes gift cert purchases to $50 max now, at least it is on my account. It used to be $200... |
