guys, i found a 'sparkling lizard' in 2-1. but i was slow enough, that thing got away. is there any special loot in that fast-moving-little lizard?

Obtained Best Weapon by Splinterstone.
Upgrade any weapon to +10 using Hardstone.

now, i'm still fairly in the beginning of the game so i couldn't explain my question with examples.

my question is

1. obtained best weapon by splinterstone. yet later it says upgrade any to +10 using hardstone. hence trophy is caled hardness.

ok so to get this trophy, is there many swords in between till u reach the best possible sword produced with splinterstone? and then that last step sword has to be +10ed with hardstones? is that wut this is?

if this is the case, im gonna have very hard time figuring everything out because i dunno which branch of sword yields which later on. only one i know for now is that ******* sword route lets me reach sword of searching.

any help would be appreciated.

2. u know in 4-2, that thief guy push me into this pit and there's this item up on a small hill in the middle after u drop down. is it jus to tease u or how do i get that?

i don't think i can get flying dragon during this run cuz i jus didn't kill it first try @ 1-4.

i guess chapter 3 after all really messed me up in terms of getting lost. i didn't see small corridors in 3-1 got stuck for like 3 hours for real.

then i didn't see that small hallway that leads up to old monk again for good 2 days hahaha

all in all, i've finished the game and onto new game +

now.... i hear people complaining about the difficulty of newgame ++

but as for me, newgame+ first of all, with my current weapons... they jus don't seem to cut nothing.

like... the difficulty has gotten MUCH harder.

now here's my question. The first run through, i have cheated with suicide soul thingy. i completed the game @ soul lvl 557. first run thru was breeze with 557 and since i had lots of trouble understanding the mechanics of the game itself, i've decided to cheat thru and see what the game's all about first time. it's like my way of setting the difficulty of the game to easy/normal.

my intention from the beginning was to start playing legit after that first run through and now i was about to do that.

but

with soul lvl 557, i get raped in newgame+.... mind you i'm not that good im games but... i can not possibly see myself getting thru  newgame+ or newgame++ if i were to play legit from the beginning to the end.

so here's my question now.

1. DO DIFFICULTIES FOR THE NEWGAME+ AND NEWGAME++ CHANGE ACCORDINGLY TO YOUR SOUL LVL THAT YOU'VE COMPLETED THE PREVIOUS GAME WITH?

i really want to find out about this information as best as i can because... to tell u the truth, if it's suppose to get that difficult @ soul lvl 557 AND IF IT'D BE THE SAME IF U PLAY LEGIT AND SAY FINISHED THE GAME @ SOUL LVL 120 OR SO, then i'm gonna have to give up on getting platinum....

2. and lastly, this is a vague question and depends on your skill/luck etc but...

for people who got platinum in this game, how many times did u have to replay this game? i heard 3~4 before.

how was newgame +++ lol.. i don't even wanna think about that.

3. did you also do most of your farming during the very first run through? for stones?

Guys, I need some help getting past the blue dragon at 1-4 stairways, unfortunately the helper Biorr The Twin Fangs is dead. Most importantly, i'm unable to take his loot...urgh !!! 

I'm a melee attacker. How could i get past the blue dragon from the stairway without the Twin Fangs as my shield ? The dragon's flame seems to hit me quite bad.

Is there another way to hit him without standing underneath that dragon ?
