I'm quite interested about the Panasonic Plasma also, since about 3k can get 42".

But I went for one of the Electrical Chain shop, the Salesman told me, most of the time Plasma is the one having defect or problem, based on their returned record. And he said: "If Plasma is so good, then most of the shop will display Plasma already, where can see LCD still around. Plasma can survive is due to Astro only."

Wonder how true is this statement.....? rclxub.gif

LCDs are traditionally more popular due to their cheaper pricing and large selections for smaller screen sizes (>42").  Nothing to do with TV quality.

BTW, what electrical chain is that?

Is SH, they are having a promotion for Sharp 37' LCD, abt 2.5~2.6k if not mistaken. If going to choose LCD, my budget only can reach 37' LCD. 32' is really too small.

I notice Panasonic have 2 model of 37' LCD. One with Motion 100Hz one without. The price different is few hundred. Again, according to the Salesman, there is no different for 100Hz in LCD, which our eye can't tell the different.
In CRT yes, because I'm using Panasonic 29' CRT 100Hz Progressive Scan, that was very good result and picture quality.
I have no exprience LCD TV, can anyone clarify?

If you compare Price vs Performance, LG is best among all, Cheap & Nice. You can compare side by side. But quality wise whether long lasting or not, i dare not say.

I also quite interesting for LG, but seen some bad comment about the brand.....so still considering......
