HELP : Suggestions on LCD TV, Sifus! Please advice!

Hey guys, im planning on getting a LCD tv for my dad.. Budget is roughly 2k + -
Thought of getting a 32" to replace my dad's aging tv for his coming birthday present.. As im just an average university student and noob about tv and stuff, i hope u guys would be able to help me out and give some pointers on this so i can get something good for my dad. It works well for me so far. Picture quality oso up to my satisfaction. If u want better browse the store and ask the salesperson so u can compare the picture quality. Bought mine RM3xxx. Now should be around RM1999.
