Reroute everything into your pc, and use some QoS software that enables you to view live traffic as well.

You need complex network devices for such things. I suggest go talk to your house mates. If you're real kiasu, then try products like Untangle, PFSense or Smoothwall all free and very good quality software. These software can tell you all what not and limit usage or control certain traffic like Torrent.

This is how your connection is today

When you implement a mediator device as mentioned above, this is how it will look

This security device can be an old PC with 2 network cards minimum.

You can setup some of these software to be transparent, i.e. inline without modifying anything on the configuration that you have now.

Complex solution to a simple problem,..ya i know..welcome to world of Technology

Thanks sanjayws but talking does not solve the problem. Maybe can stand for a week or two and then there he comes again. Already sounded few times but does not solve the problem that why i need some solid evidence. I have complex housemate shakehead.gif.

Previously he was using ppstream while me and my other housemate dota lag like hell. After 1st sound, he no longer use but he use don't know what software to stream instead. This one very powerful, when he using this software to stream/download, me and my other housemate dc from everything (facebook, msn). I sound again and he quiet for some time and now he streaming youtube and some chinese website.

Everytime i ask him is it he downloading or streaming, he quickly close his activities and answer "no ah". icon_question.gif

Thats why I'm finding something that can monitor the traffic so that i know who is hogging the line.

Just QoS him to a certain bandwidth. Don't bother.
