They really used "Speed Miracle Spacy" on the stands. doh.gif

Its not all that bad. It comes with 3 sets of stickers. Unadorned, Strategic Military Services, or... well, Speed Miracle Spacy.

for anyone who doubted, here's a review of chogokin rvf-25
http://gamu-toys.info/goukin/gouki/dxf03Rvf25/01.html
notice the two different tones of greens? my guess is that it's not a defect and it's meant to be designed that way icon_rolleyes.gif
*
Actually, from what I gather, some units don't display two different tones, while some do, so its most likely a defect. Also, going by line art and the 1/72 kit, the RVF-25 does come in two tones, but not in those areas.

Like this photo from a forumer at Macross World forums.

Are they gonna produce VF25G and RVF25 armor like Ozma VF25S Armor?
*
If you're talking about the Armor pack and not the Super pack, then the possibilities look slim, since VF-25G and RVF-25 never ever wore the Armor pack in the anime. But then again Bandai may just milk the entire franchise dry, anime accuracy be damned.

If its too small, you can make it larger with some modelling putty, or even a layer of super glue. If its too big, sand it down. Either way its fixable with a bit of work, so don't worry.

I never did notice it, but the DX doesn't come with panel lines? Should panel line them on your own.

Hi Guys,

Can some of you whom have already built the 1/72 Alto Custom give me a hand with mine? I can't get the arms to fold back properly for Fighter mode! To slot into the connector at the back, the shoulders end up so far forward that the waist joint can no longer clip in. Even after dismantling chunks of it I still can't figure out what is wrong...

Hhheeelllpppp  cry.gif

Pic of top, is the head tucked in correctly?

This is what the shoulder looks like when the forearm is connected to the clip at the back (I removed the arm from the joint)

Here you can see the tucked in head and waist joint. I've already check the neck plate, it can't go any forward.
*
Do the arms lock into place properly? There's a tab under the back plate that the arms can kinda 'click' into. Also, you did lock the two separate parts of the waist tightly together right?

That's the problem. If I secure the arms to the tab, the shoulders are so forward that I can't lock the waist (see the middle pic). There isn't enough space to close it. The waist hits the shoulders...
*
MY RVF-25 is the only one of my 4 kits that even has the slightest hint of that problem (waist and shoulders not fitting in fighter mode), but a bit of adjustment and I can transform it. I'm pretty sure they can't screw up an injection kit so badly, since its all from the same mold, which leaves the possibility that you've built a part wrongly (not trying to be rude here).

Would really love to help, but without seeing the actual thing, I can't really tell.

*
That's the 1/72. This one is the 1/60 DX, and the Armored version will probably include the VF-25F also, since there are additional holes on the backplate required for the installation.

Good to finally have a face to put the name to, wolfx. Awesome display. I wanted to see an actual transformation but well you know... busy at TFM and then I don't think transforming is something you can do quickly. Anyway heard about your car, hope everything is alright.

See you next convention. Or something.

VF-100 series's Koenig? If the line is anything to go by, it'll probably involve quite a bit of part swapping, which is a major put off imho. I'll put my money on an eventual model kit.
