Yea can tahan only if u put the main pillar at 90 degrees position but i think can hold in battroid and gerwalk mode only.

I'm not sure about the YAMATO stand being compatible with the BANDAI DX though.

Mayb some1 who owned both the item can prove that for us.

water decals, that's why i found that's a real paintful job... so far the transformatino is ok, since i use the color spray (both gundam spray and tamiya spray), the quality of the paint is very good and the transformation wont' scratch it. (But i do the transformation very careful)

I notice that the color of normal sticker are far lesser obvious than the water decal...

i also used water decal. but after i did the transformation, yes some of the very small piece of decals will fall off. and u must be very kful especially the shoulder part. that why after that, i just remain it in fighter mode. did u use top coat as protection?

taufufa ,

No I didn't, so i have to be super careful when doing transformation... (ANyway now only i notice in the last pic, the water decal on my robot's left shoulder is a bit weird...)

alphaomega ,
Thanks, hee hee suppose i was choosing a even more darker color of gray, but it end up no color contrast btwn the body and the inner part :S So I go buy a new tin of grey color....RM25 gone sad.gif

wow...this is nice...although I agree it lacks sleckness with the armor pack...but it's still damn nice...

It's a MUST BUY for me...but I still wondering should I get the DX ver? Decision! Decision!

Also, anyone bought the VF-100's Series? How's the detail?

man... why'd YAMATO stop the production for 1/48 scale...
for me it is more precise in term of details compare to 1/60.. except the hand.. they need to come out with something... seriously..

do you know where can i find this?

Hi everyone, im a noob but perhaps i could make some clarification here, i started my collection with the YAMATO 1/48 scale, after collecting 6 of them, I then realized that there not too many more 1/48 models that i could collect, i felt disappointed that YAMATO produced only 1/60 scale of the new series, however I was curios why was the 1/60 new models were selling at a very high price, even pricier than the 1/48, that was when I was enlightened by Sam of XL-Shop in Berjaya Time Square that the new 1/60 models are actually larger than the old 1/48 thus it is more expensive. I've since purchased two SV-51r of 1/60 scale and true enough these planes are big and with big it means that details are even better than the 1/48 scale.

Being a noob here means i dont have much avenue to find my toys but so far i've found that the XL-Shop which have an online store and the Time Capsule store both in Berjaya Time Square are good places to look for Macross toys, I've got 6 1/48 scale models, 3 1/60 scale models and 13 1/144 scale models all of which i obtained or are available at these two merchants.

I hope you guys could give pointers and advice on collecting Macross figures, I thank you.
