Updated to new Haali release (2009-01-11), ffdshow r2625, and MPC-HC stuff r980.
A minor bug present only in beta builds was fixed, the uninstaller was not being called if you installed over a previous install.
All WMP related code was rewritten for better readability and sense making, as well as documentation. Should be un-noticable, or only work for the better on the offchance that something minor was fixed.

2009-03-28: Updated ffdshow to r2832 and MPC-HC stuff to r1023. GCC and some of the MinGW runtimes were also updated in build environment.

2009-02-08: Removed VS2008 runtimes, not required since everything is staticly linked. Workaround a random ffdshow bug r2627: ffdshow.ax will not register if the HKCU\GNU\ffdshow key does not exist. Write a blank value to default entry for now. Nothing much else.

2009-02-06: Updated to new ffdshow r2653, MPC-HC to r988, VSFilter 2.39 r988 and guliverkli stuff to r988. Removed Zoomplayer from the installer and added VS2008 SP1 runtime libraries. Reorganization of more code internally. Everything related to ProgIDs (Windows association stuff), Haali, and Player installation (just MPC) modified in some shape or form. MPC's internal MPEG2 decoder is enabled by default now. It seems most commercial MPEG2 decoders break when using MPC for DVD Playback, so using its own components. "Keep history of files" MPC option is now enabled by default, only known use is with GTSdll.

ffdshow: H.264 streams encoded with older versions of x264 (ca. r286) exhibit blocking on seek. Reported for fixing.

- The Save Thumbnails feature in MPC-HC should work now.

2009-06-17: Removed libtheora and pthreadGC2. The version of libtheora in ffdshow svn is much older than its xiph equivalent, whether this has any impact on decoding speed/quality who knows. Also pthreads is not required because ffmpegmt links to it staticly.

2009-06-18: The two versions are one contains mpciconlib and one does not. Notice the large size difference? Most of the size is from the Vista compatible 256x256 resolution icons. Another option would be to just remove all the 256x256 icons (thus extremely reducing size) and forgetting about the preference of Vista and Win7 users but still allowing for moderately nice icons in pack. Added Haali license to install. Added ff_kerneldeint, ff_samplerate, and TomsMoComp_ff filters back to FFDShow install. Remove all MPC-HC and FFDShow language resources, these may return when CCCP gets language localization itself. The language resources, as well as mpciconlib if it is going to be removed, may be available in some separate download form. How to package this and where to put it though is undecided.

FFDShow defaults changed: HQRGB enabled (for screenshots, otherwise has no effect), reverted the "fix" in ffdshow SVN which makes certain channels even softer in a 5.1->2ch downmix.

And mpciconlib is using all standard Windows size icons except 256x256 res.

This check copies the check performed in MPC-HC itself, which will also give you a bothersome warning message. 2009-09-18: FFDShow r3080, MPC-HC r1281. Fix for 6ch Vorbis playback. Pre-buffer subpictures option is now on by default in VSFilter (as it is in MPC-HC). It no longer disables subtitle animation, as it did in the past. Slower machines may perform even worse when attempting to buffer the animations (slower than not buffering that is). Otherwise speed should be improved on everything else, since complex subtitle animations (see softsub karaoke) are typically not used that much. Should be tested to assure prebuffering does not negatively affect scene timing/typesetting, and also possibly segment linking with subtitle tracks (subs right at the end and beginning of a segment affected?).

2009-12-03: FFDShow r3138. Haali 1.9.355.21 (mkx.n.2). Still need to remove mmfinfo.dll and Haali related thumbnail/shell stuff which will no longer be supported by Haali's splitter. This is a beta release of Haali's splitter. Haven't recompiiled MPC-HC yet. Shooting for an X-mas official release, much work and testing needs to be done. 2009-12-06: MPC-HC r1378. Installer updated to follow MPC-HC D3D9X detection changes, version 42 (Aug 2009) of DXSDK is incompatible with older versions so you must have latest DX binaries installed. Will eventually add the DX webupdate installer when it detects you do not have proper versions of binaries installed, for helpless monkeys who can't do this themselves. This will add slight bloat to pack but decrease number of "OMIGOSH I DON'T HAVE DX WHAT DO I DO?" questions/complaints. Removed Haali Shell Extensions and Thumbnails from installer. Updated to Inno Setup 5.3.x Unicode. Few changes were required, should be seamless change but it is a major one in many respects. B: Forgot to remove some Haali Shell/Thumbnails stuff from Settings app. Set Haali Renderer to use "auto" detection for color coefficients (Note Haali Renderer isn't used in any default CCCP settings).

Only component updated since last beta is Haali (will be working on MPC/FFDShow when I wake up)

Main purpose beta was held off because of huge refactoring of code in installer and settings app. Didn't even want to release a beta until I had reviewed it significantly. It hasn't been fully tested but should be more than safe now. Everything, and I do mean everything, should be tested. Also on a clean machine as well as on an upgrade from previous pack. Some notable fixes involve Vista/7 for DefaultPrograms and WMP setup. Don't expect anything to work (that worked before) without confirming it. After that, we can move onto actually releasing again n_n.

FFDShow 1.1.3342.0, following FFDs new naming versions. MPC and other small modifications I've never gotten around to tomorrow'ish.
