New development, ho! Lord has been a true Hero of the Workforce, and we have for the first time actually added new features to FFDShow-tryouts! A brand new hi10p-compatible CCCP for Win7/Vista/XP, codename "A legend reborn"! Download: Win7/Vista/XP.
Updated components:
FFDShow-tryouts 1.1.3951
MPC-HC 1.5.3.3514
VSFilter 2.40.3514.3
General changelog:
Support for our beloved 10-bit stuff (hi10p support) in FFDShow-tryouts has been added.
Color space matching priorities have been switched for 420P ("YV12"), to prefer YUV formats before RGB in order to minimize the possibility of libswscale RGB conversion with hi10p material.
Playback of certain matroska clips, that incorrectly used to play at 25fps, has been fixed with FFDShow-tryouts.
CCCP Settings and VSFilter have been adjusted for the new pre-buffering changes. Default is still no buffer, and the checkbox sets it to 10 when enabled (buffering set to other values made subtitles blink for users). The settings application currently, in case of the buffering value being non-zero, will reset the value to 10.
2011-06-26: Way overdue, a new bugfix CCCP for Win7/Vista/XP while we boil some new stuff up in our testing labs!

CCCP 2011-09-25 Beta

http://www.cccp-project.net/beta/Combined-...-2011-09-25.exe

main branch
general installer script updates
AC3 in -tryouts set to libavcodec (looking at that one bug that was found with DTS-ES that seemingly made us use libdts at the moment, will move to libavcodec if there's even the slightest hint that it can work better than the lolold libdts library)
Wavpack enabled in -tryouts with libavcodec decoder
removed CoreWavpack as an updated wavpack.c in libavcodec can do more than it ever did (read: we copied the current wavpack.c off current libav and put into -tryouts)
"Remove the DXVA checkbox that has broken more playback than given happiness."
Fixed a problem with settings not getting removed from registry after the 2011/07/30 stable, should work again.

lav filters branch
LAVSplitter generally added, doesn't do squat about settings yet
Haali removed from everything but Matroska and OGM (not like you'll find many OGM files nowadays, but if you have and have a say about which splitter works better with them -- do tell)
Lord doing check-up on the LAVSplitter sources, possibly needed changes noted
LAVSplitter's settings added to settings app's reset and the uninstaller's general removal.
FLVSplitter removed, LAVSplitter handles FLV now.
MPC-HC's and LAVSplitter's defaults changed to match the current CCCP setup.

CCCP 2011-10-03 (03) Beta

http://www.cccp-project.net/beta/Combined-...011-10-03-3.exe

A new beta and then a quick update to it:

2011-10-03(-1)
Added LAV Splitter the to 're-register filters' function. That should now work.
Disabled MPC-HC's internal FLAC source filter by default.
Disabled -tryouts' hack around an old VSFilter bug, as we don't ship an old VSFilter with CCCP. Fixes a problem with a black line coming up with non-mod8 clips on the right side.
Disabled LAV Splitter's wavpack and real media splitting by default as it will probably work worse off than our current setup until we switch to LAV Video/Audio (and still it will be non-perfect). Wavpack seeking was just crazy I hear.

2011-10-03-2
Simple hack to make AAC channel configuration changes work mid-stream as that feature is now back in ffmpeg. This sample now works, unfortunately stuff like gg's Moshidora still doesn't seem to work in Matroska.

2011-10-03-3 (AKA yes I was tired at 2AM)
Uncomment a line in -tryouts I wasn't supposed to uncomment. Fixes MP3 decoding (and possibly something else as well).

2011-10-03-4
Added ffdshow-tryouts' changes to aacdec.c. Fixes 5.1 audio in 10-03 betas 2 and 3 (and probably some other configurations as well).

◦AAC fixes, now gg's Moshidora and some other files that used to bork with ffaac work.
◦All LAV Filters added to the pack since their "weight" is rather small. LAV Audio and Video's decoders are disabled by default.
◦Fix the status of Haali's filters made by the installer. Until now if you would not reset the settings, Haali would be used in the same way as in the 2011-07-30 release, which pretty much broke consistency.
◦Make the LAV Filters-related uninstallation and settings reset a bit safer. It would just remove the whole LAV folder until now, which would mean that in case you had f.ex. LAV CUVID installed it would nuke its settings as well.
◦Add a checkbox for LAV Video in the "Alternative H.264 Decoders" area of the settings app. It is preferred over CoreAVC and DivX H.264

Modified and re-added the VSFilter hack in -tryouts, this time basing off numbers we got from testing mod2 files. Smaller black borders should now be added in case they become needed. More info here.

Biggest changes:
LAV Filters included. LAV Splitter is used for certain formats where Haali was lacking and where Gabest's FLV Splitter was used. LAV Video and Audio are off by default for the time being, but can be enabled if the user so wishes. Since H.264 decoding with LAV can be very much useful, it has its own checkbox in the CCCP settings application, for everything else user would have to check the filters' own settings screen in the filters subfolder of CCCP.
FLV Splitter, CoreWavpack removed. FLV will be split by LAV Splitter, and Wavpack will be decoded by -tryouts, as libavcodec's wavpack decoder now supports all of the funnier parts of wavpack thanks to Daemon404 herping a derp at the libavcodec developers. Raw wavpack splitting not possible with CCCP any more, use a proper audio player for that or mux the stream into a container.
DXVA setting removed from the settings app. It touched -tryouts DXVA which never really worked as well as MPC-HC's. If you absolutely, positively want to use DXVA -- go enable it in MPC-HC Not that it is any more recommended than earlier.
Overall installer/settings application updates.
Everything I've forgotten about by now.

Hit it with all you've got, and report regressions here or on IRC (as in stuff that breaks with defaults now and didn't in the previous version). Also, test with LAV Video that will most probably become the default H.264 decoder for the next CCCP stable Help us catch the possible problems it has with things before it gets there. It is fast and can use less patched versions of libraries, which make it much less needing of hacks than -tryouts when updating the libraries.
