Hi all LX3 users.

Have a few questions after browsing thru LX3's blog and sites:
If say i mount on the DMW-LA4 adapter, then pair it with say DMW-LPL46/LND46/LMC46, can i still plug the LX3's OEM lens cap back on when not using the cam??? If cannot then how leh???

How about if go one step further, mounting on the DMW-LW46??? Where can get sui sui matching lens cap for it leh???

Any advice, all LX3 connoisseurs? Thnks.
*
u mean like dis ??
user posted image

i believe DMW-LA4 adapter is a 45mm to 45mm converter ( using bc ori cap shud not be a prob )
but i m using pandabase 45mm to 52mm converter wif normal 52mm UV filter and also 52mm lens cap
all fr laichong:)

Thanks bro, so you mostly use P mode? Do you play around with ISO or Exposure most of the time? Or just leave it there and snap photo?
*
when in P mode, i use inteligent ISO n exposure lo .... juz wana get the reading for aperture n shuttle speed, or wen not much time for
me to take pic slowly

most of time i use M mode, stil prefer to try n error......

Okay, so if we use auto ISO and Exposure, it will like iA mode? Gonna try use P mode tomorrow for my trip. smile.gif
*
under Ai mode ...u cant set anythg ( exposure or ISO )
under P mode , u can let it do automatically , or semi-manual ( u can still play wif ISO , exposure etc etc )
fully auto in P mode VS Ai.......shud be the same i guess ( i dun see any diff ).....unless u say auto select scn(scene) in Ai

Yerrr... Laichong cheat people one (hehehe, just kidding). After taruh the adapter and filter(s), cannot use back the OEM lens cap one. OEM lens cap clips kinda hidden, cannot parking on the filter rim. Luckily i clever (just joking also), scout for 3rd party lens cap (DSLR-like ones with exposed clips) then can liao. But not cheap also leh, those capalang looking cap. Who cares, as long can protect filters being mounted on.

Just to share some info after experiencing it, hope it'll be useful to all LX3 users.

u din get the 52mm cap fr laichong??
i got mine fr him together....

guys, is it normal that the camera takes as long as the shutter speed to process the image after taking the pic ? For example if i set 6 seconds shutter speed, it'll take 6 seconds to process the image. If 1 minute then 1 minute to process the image (not capturing the image. hope u guys understand what im trying to say)
*
yup, u r right
if 1minute, den u hav to wait 2minutes

NO! if you set your shutter speed to 1 minute, it doesnt take another extra minute to process it

need another 60sec to process
so end up 120secs to take 1 pic ...... rclxub.gif
