Can i know ur firmware version?
1) when u go into music player, there are only hide appear in right bottom corner. If u want to exit music player, u can only do it by go to option then exit. This is not a technical problem, mostly all nokia symbian phone is like this.

3) did u set auto lock keypad? Display light will off when keypad is lock.

I'll suggest you to update ur firmware version to latest 1, this will solve hang problem.
If u got read previous post, u shud know that ver11.049 have a lot of problem.
In addition, "c" is for delete button, so u only can force to close apps by pressing "red button" only.

I think u shud check on settings>general>personalisation>display>light sensor (izzit in power saving mode = in lowest position)
If the light illuminate at shortest time, then u shud check on light time out, normally 15sec is enough.

actually AP set is still safe to use as the phone is still manufactured by Nokia.
AP set is bcoz of different distributor. Normally if u was the unlucky 1, the hand set will be foreign country set and ur phone might not get proper firmware update and the setting like input of message will varies to that country too.

But i think u try to turn ur auto-rotate display to off maybe black screen problem will solve.

Hmm...although the phone is just used for 2-3months only, the price will also drop near to 2nd hand price.
If ur handset is ori set, mayb can argue for higher price seen warranty still not expired.
But most of the price is depend on phone condition...e.g. caller lifetimer, phone body...and so on...

Hi, yes...all bluetooth files will go into inbox anyway.
after u has opened the file, then only will ask ur permission to save it o not.
But if u send files like apps then mayb u can found it in ur file manager>memory card (or will be in phone memory if u save all ur msg in phone memory)>Attachement (folder) inside thr will content bluetooth files. Next, if u want to send ur received bluetooth files, u need to confirm it's save after u get the bluetooth files in ur device only u can found the file in Attachment folder there and bluethooth to ur frenz.

sry of confusing phrases...
1) After u received file (installer e.g. theme) from ur frenz, actually u can find the file inside the folder where u store all ur inbox msg. Example...i set all my messages to memory card, then i can find the file inside my memory card.
2) Go to File manager>memory card>Attachment inside the attachment folder u will found all files u received by Bluetooth.

1) To add a new playlists go to Music player>Playlists>Options>New playlist.
2) Then u can simply add song to that playlist as ur like.

Opps...i think the better way is u go to arrange all songs 1st in computer, then place them separately by folder....
E.g. "Malay songs" , "Latest Hitz" all song arrange and put into those folder.
After tht go to ur phone and mark all those songs in that folder to create a new playlist...
Like this will be a smarter way...and there is really no short cut rather to choose song 1 by 1 to add into playlist.

In my opinion, i tried my frenz N85 and i jz feel that the colour more to orange and not so bright.
N79 have higher parity colour too...Can change cover...Longer battery for standby...

Yea!!! I'm totally agree with u.
Seen i used N79 so long, it's no serious problem. Some how the "hang" problem will be solve as u had upgraded to latest firmware version.
On the other hand, all handphone shop seller will give prior to earn more profit, therefore only expensive phone model wil be introduce or said by them is perfect.

Kekez...successfully install GarminXT today.
Such a nice software and better than nokia map. ^^

So izzit means if N79 change it screen to OLED will solve that problem?

If ur phone did a hard format, that means all data u installed in ur phone will lost.
Try to re-install back ur MSN again and make sure it's save in memory card.

Cannot download MSN in "download" there??? weird...
Have u try to format ur memory card too?

I jz can recommend u to format all (phone & memory card) then only install back what u need.
Save all software o theme in memory card too, if not it's hard to find the way to delete it.

comparison between N79 & 5800XM :
1) N79 ( 5Mpxl ) , 5800XM ( 3.2Mpxl ) therefore...N79 win.
2) N79 in ver11.049 still will hang frequently but after upgrade to latest version it's no hang and performance more faster. With fm transmitter, push-to-talk, and adobe PDF that came originally with N79 is give a lot of convenience to user rather than 5800XM do not have those function.
2) 5800XM can experience touch screen, wider display, faster and easier way to browse web, louder speaker and new gaming experience. Therefore this round is in "win-win" condition.

In conclusion, if u are using more camera then N79 or N82 will suit u. If u want to have touch screen and wider display when browsing web, 5800XM will be the best choice. Haha...as a N79 user, i'm more support to N79 rather than 5800XM.
