why need many thread for one brand, the difference is the body oni..but lens, external flash mostly are same and can be used for all bodies..1 thread can gather more thoughts about one discussion..

u need to find the correct exposure..

if use shutter priority, aperture will be set by the camera for you.. but kit lens are not wide (as in aperture) enough..

if need to use really high shutter speed, then u'll need a fast lens (have wide aperture) like a SAL-70200G or Sigma 70-200 f/2.8

let me dig out my shots with minolta 35-70mm f4 first..hehe

wireless, cobra twisting head, 58 (isit called guide number?)which allows the flash to shoot further, some 3rd party flash will give wrong exposure, and its a sony! it is not that expensive compared to other brands!

the line between subject and background too obvious, i think u overdone the noise reduction la..

when u sharpen or reducing noise using software, the picture will get some kind of black or white line between in-focus subject and background..so becarefull when PP bout sharpening, high pass, noise ruduce..dont over do it..sometimes if u reduse the noise to much the picture will looks like plastic n cartoon-ish..

thats just my observation la..
