Well, my tube is with me for almost 8 hours. Now, I still can't go online although I have ordered settings from Maxis itself.
I could go online using my W810i effortlessly. 3G is enabled for my SIM also...just dunno why...Packet Data Connection Unavailable... |

QUOTE(zackloy @ Jan 30 2009, 08:57 AM) That could be your USB port problem. Is the front port an extension? Meaning it actually is feeding of a root USB port to split into 2 front ports for example, or is it a true port? I found that sometimes for USB connection to external devices, using a root USB port is the best. Dunno why but that's how it works. zackloy. I would like to say a big THANK YOU for your tips Added on January 30, 2009, 9:14 am Have you solved the 3G thinghy yet. I had the same problem and as advised by others here what I did was: SETTING>CONNECTION>APN CONTROL>PRESS OPTION>CHOOSE DEACTIVATE RESTRICTIONS. Use PIN2 code to deacivate it, maxis default PIN2 is 1234 - courtesy of tanseehua After that everything ok. I hope this tip can be posted on the First Page... I found the APN Control under the Admin Settings. This post has been edited by skyer: Jan 30 2009, 11:02 AM |

QUOTE(squall_kay @ Jan 30 2009, 06:09 PM) r u using screen protector? Haha...firstly, my SP got hole on the sensor, secondly, I can confirm its not the SP problem, Coz i did not receive the call, i just stare at the calling and then wait for the person to hang. I didn't answer it. Then the message composer no back light liao...no matter how I tap it. So i just lock and unlock the phone and then can already...certain SP will block the sensor. thats why many use the SP with cut/hole around the sensor. but certain SP even without hole/cut at the sensor will not block the sensor This post has been edited by skyer: Jan 31 2009, 01:23 AM |

Also, I am quite worried about the stripes behind the cover, would you think it will go off very soon?
I saw my friend's 5310 Xpressmusic (The thin express music), the stripes behind gone half and not half, very ugly. |

I really love the Calendar organizer... it will display the upcoming notification like "The next entry is dd/mm/yyyy" ...
The last time I owned a Nokia S40 was event listed on the day itself, which is, useless. Added on January 31, 2009, 2:58 pm QUOTE(david9 @ Jan 31 2009, 02:45 PM) is nokia 5800 a good phone ??? cuz i went and try out nokia 5800 , the sms part is quite annoying have to tab this and that but when comes to play music . whoa ! stereo speakers was awesome , loud and clear . To be frank, I am now exactly 48 hours of Red 5800XM user. the only thing is whether to choose nokia 5800 - touch screen or nokia e71 - qwerty keypad ??? The SMS part, besides difficult to sms while driving, I found it rather interesting as I could click the words much much faster than using normal keypad. I just played with the default GPS software and its quite fast (About 5 mins for the first time) to lock for position, without using AGPS. The second time I connect again takes only 3 minutes in Melaka.
By the way, what's the browser that you guys using? Opera Mini? |
