my FD2 tafetta white is delayed another 1 month to August.. i'm being forced to take the alabaster silver and the car will be ready next month..
what do you guys think? should i wait for the white color or just take the silver? I love the white color but somehow i dont want to mimic the type r

If June, can tender first if you really want a specific number, but 2301 should be easy to get via open numbers also provided you go early. I think you can only tender for WTW now since it must be before those specific letters are opened. This means tender for WTV 2301 is not possible, but I don't think it's available anyway. The current number is already WTV 8356 today. So 2301 sudah lepas and is likely taken. Try WTW lah, quite nice also.

As for doing it yourself, not so sure, but I do think you need to. Otherwise, the runners would go out of business.

Damn.. i got my new Civic 2.0S 2 weeks back. SA sent my car for tinting and I collect my car in Ecotint Hartamas tinting shop. After few days I realized whenever I wash my car or got into rain, everytime I wind down and wind up my car windows inner part were wet!
3 of the windows having this problem.

I went to Honda SC for my first service and complain about this. They claimed that it was caused by the tinting shop. So after car service I straight away drive my car to Ecotint Hartamas, they said its because of the rubber not good enough. Ask me send back to SC.
Then one of the Ecotint sales girl said wait for my manager got her new Civic then we will show whether her new car got this problem or not. What the hell man even you show me or not I don't care I just want to solve the current problem!

So I called up my SA ask him to settle for me. He said he will discuss with Honda CS's manager and get back to me.

WTH! Even my old Proton Wira also never have this kind of problem. Somemore this Civic can buy 6 of my old Wira.

Anyone can enlight me what to do? Just wait? Wait until when? 

P/S: Never send your car to Ecotint Hartamas. They tinting skill sux! I tinted Ray Barrier, after few days got my new car my rear window part of the tinting film came out, roughly about 1 feet large. I sent it back to the shop and they touch up for me but still alot of bubbles. I ask them to replace new one for me. They said can but we won't guarantee if we damage your heater. ZZzzzZZZZZ............

I wash my car with TurtleWax ICE super shine after wash. You should dry up your car after washing. Or else sure will leave watermark on your car body or windows.  So dry it as dry as possible.

Not true. If your car have some problem with electrical thing, SC will ask you disconnect the 3rd party alarm to have them for check. Otherwise they blame on 3rd alarm. Cause most of the SA don't have much knowledge on electrical thing. Specially new car.

I have an experience on this situation.

Do you really need so many lock? Crazy right? Just lock your whole car will take 10min. Ha....

Just use steering lock is enough.

Install a GPS tracking and track by yourself for what?

If your car get stolen, can you confront the thieft if you know where your car is? Will you risk your life to fight them?

If your car get stolen in the middle of the night and tommorow mornng you only realize, wil you go over to country border to get back your car?  

they will anounce it next year...so i think 2012 then malaysia will be selling it.

i just drove my Civic 2 days.. and i found something weird.. when i start moving.. i could hear the sound of the exhaust pipe.. like ting ting like that, is that normal? and then the passenger side the drawer very hard to close, can i complain that as well? 1 more thing, i just fill full tank this morning around 9am.. and drove for 90KM today, and already used up quarter of my, is this normal as well??

1. ok.. tomorrow will check nicely.. cause i suspect the sound was from the exhaust.. but anyway that's no lost to double check, thanks..
2. same no light as well.. is normal quite hard to close, erm.. nevermind this i will try to complain, see what can they do..
3. average 400-430 only ar.. erm.. quite high FC, but i admit i am a hard stepper la.. nevermind.. since that's what normal.. i will try to keep a record on the FC..

is urs 2.0 model? my 1.8FL doesnt have light.

I just did it not too long ago on my FD2. It's good, but depends on your expectation. It makes the paint smooth and easy to clean, but don't expect the same deep warm lustre of waxing and don't expect stone chip protection.

So, get it done if you want to make your life easier when cleaning your car, especially if you don't believe in paying RM 300-400 for a proper detailing session every few months.
