QUOTE(gregy @ Aug 22 2010, 01:43 PM) Reverse sensors are very sensitive as they rely on sound waves to operate. It is possible that the wax or sealant has somehow altered the sensitivity of the sensors. I don't know if it happens to you, but for me, when it's raining or just after rain and the sensors are slightly wet, they go crazy and beep non stop. Also, the sensors have to be placed upright (there's usually a little arrow on the sensor to indicate which way is up. Fitting them any other way than up will cause them to beep even though there's nothing behind you. You might want to check if the CARS ppl removed the sensors to machine buff your bumper and may have accidentally re-fitted them the wrong way. Yeah, i plug both sensors out and noticed the arrows like what u stated. I installed them back properly and it is now back to normal for the moment. Thanks bro...

NEED HELP! Recently my civic was banged by another car. The owner brought my car to repair and respray my driver side door. I found a scratch on my window control armrest, maybe caused by the prying of a screwdriver during dismantling of the door panel.
Anyone can suggest what should i do? Can the grey plastic thingie be replaced? How much does it cost on average?
BIG THANK YOU!

Vibration at speed >100kmph, or when u tap on the brake? I sometimes do feel the judder when i brake, but the speed isn't constant. Sometimes hi, sometime low also will happen. I just brush this issue aside at the moment as its not affecting my daily driving. Normally when it judders, i just depress the pedal and tap on it again and its gone.

I need some help from u guys. My civic fd1 is having problems with the driver side power window. When the window is fully down, it does not automatically go up 100% when i pull the switch once. Anyone have the same problem? It somehow goes back down abit as if something had blocked its way.
another thing i would like to ask, is there a possibility to change the radio panel indicator glass? mine was scratched badly by sand particle when i sent my car for washing. can the piece of glass be replaced?
thank you

QUOTE(Revamperz @ Jan 25 2011, 02:34 AM) hi most problem found in fd's i think are 1. steering assembly/hose/rack - do try to turn the steering with engine on n notice if anything funny sounding repair cost for these are up to 1.2k 2. engine mounts - test drive it n take notice when start to drive got some kinda sound also. repair cost around 1k these prob are super popular on earlier up to 07 batch ( mine included DX ) dunno bout 08 but worth to check em out at 40k that car will need to undergo it 1st major service.. rm800+ at HSC My 2006 fd1 got both...but not serious so i din even bother..once in a while only will hear the noise when engaging D.

QUOTE(zenix @ Mar 3 2011, 06:00 PM) perhaps disc warped. yes bearing should be constant noise. and i lol at the hybrids with type-r rims and bodykit just follow the manual no matter what. keep stock standard. you'll be able to claim warranty for almost everything except if the SC fussy. my mom even claim warranty for battery.....twice (every 2 years under their <40,000km clause) mine warranty void for many parts oredi i think Bro, what do you mean by disc warped?

QUOTE(ozak @ Mar 4 2011, 10:59 AM) How long haven't you replace the brake pad? Any vibrate during braking? Just sent my car to check. The sound was because of the brake pads. Had them replaced. BTW, anyone know the price for Honda OEM shock absorber for front and rear? I was told my rear absorber is leaking oil.

Bros, anybody experience the VSA warning light on after engine start? I experienced this on my FD1 2 times already so far.
When i start the engine, the lights for all other checks go off, but the VSA light remains on.
I switch off and then on the engine again only the VSA goes off.
What is the problem? Is there a problem with my VSA? Anyone experience this issue before?
