seem like I have the worst petrol consumption on my FD 1.8.
I am getting about 7-8/little only(Ron95).

malaysia standard civic only auto? thts something new to me..australia has manual. Any idea why my FC so high(8km/L)? i didnt do any modification le...still a stock car. Could it be my 15inch rims? lol

It's called torque converter lockup. Once your car is moving at a constant speed, the torque converter is locked, allowing the car to cruise in its highest ratio (5th gear). When in 5th gear and the rpm is at 2400-2500 rpm, the torque converter is still slipping to generate enough torque to get the car to a constant speed. It's like a manual car, if you half-clutch it the rpm is higher even though you're in a certain gear, generating higher torque.

You might also notice that when your TC is locked up at 2000 rpm and you press the throttle to go just a bit faster, the rpm goes up again to 2400 plus. The TC is then disengaged from lockup.

The best way to look after your gearbox and get the best FC is to try and cruise in TC lockup mode. You don't need 2000 rpm to engage lockup. If you drive at a constant 70km/h, the GB will initiate lockup at around 1550 rpm.

Guys, one question that strangely enough I can't seem to find online.

Does anyone know what is the largest memory size for the USB drive supported by a 2010 FD2 HU? My 4GB Sandisk one works fine, but it says unsupported when I plugged in a 16GB one. Although funnily enough, it seems to detect my friend's 16GB Sony drive. Weird, not sure if it's formatting or size that is the problem.

which is a better choice, a new honda accord 2.0 or a civic 2.0?
hows the cost of maintainance for the cars above ?
how much does a normal service including labour cost ?
are this two cars realiabe, are there any common problems for the cars above ?
i am a student and planning to get one of this cars.

is the accord 2.0 under-powered ?

The Civic external modification nearly 100% completed in the listed mod.. what is left is only darker tint..

Stock is 1.8 Silver..

my rear is actually Modulo skirting from Honda. What make it look ugly is the muffler is too big, so can get it to the center  it fit well with stock muffler.
