QUOTE(Mudmaniac @ Jan 23 2009, 11:23 AM) technically no. but many international flights now have WiFi 802.11 service. i have tried to log on, but they use that webpage logon method. if wireless was an issue i think this would not be possible. A lot of international flight expressively forbade wireless devices, i am not sure the reason. To save ourselves from embarassment, i suggest that we ask the crew before we turned on that DS.

QUOTE(Mudmaniac @ Jan 23 2009, 12:56 PM) This was ages ago. if you look thru MAS in-flight stuff you may still see this on the list. My say on the matter is such: I think it more likely for a flock of geese to crash a plane than Wifi signals. That being said, if you wanna feel safe, ask the crew. If the plane has its own wifi network point , its a moot question to ask. Yes, agree. Just that to saves ourselves from embarassment -- ASK, i was asked to switch off my DS on a Qantas domestic flight..... (With a smile on her face) Man that was embarassing.... but well i assumed i was on MAS, so my bad.
