I'm using Ubuntu 8.04. And, I have the same problem. I solved myself by installing the missing library files. You can find which library is missing by going to Terminal, type in the following code:



Then install the missing library through synaptic package manager. For example, if you are missing libnss3.so, in synaptic package manager, search for 'libnss3', then you can see 'libnss3-1d' and 'lss3-1d-dbg'. Install them. Install the other missing library files by the same ware.
