Hello. Is there anyone in here using Ubuntu 8.04 and having no problems with Flash with his/her FF ? I've been through so many do-this-do-that website but I still could't get my FF to display Flash stuff?

you sure yours is running flash 10? try right clicking on a flash and check the version.
your /home will be untouched. they revamped the network manager. you'll have to do some tweaking through the terminal to get it working but i prefer the old one because it just works. the new one kinda funky. |

I'm using Ubuntu 8.04. And, I have the same problem. I solved myself by installing the missing library files. You can find which library is missing by going to Terminal, type in the following code:
CODE ldd /usr/lib/adobe-flashplugin/libflashplayer.so Then install the missing library through synaptic package manager. For example, if you are missing libnss3.so, in synaptic package manager, search for 'libnss3', then you can see 'libnss3-1d' and 'lss3-1d-dbg'. Install them. Install the other missing library files by the same ware. |
