Since the concern is mainly on reliability, it's better to stay on newer ones ie. Slim

My fren once said tht the slim one can easily rosak...I dunno...mayb chips faulty or overheat prob....mayb this juz a rumours...I think this is wht TT meant....

Because I saw that most of the sellers selling PS2 Fat much expensive than PS2 slim regardless their conditions. In fact, I'm planning to buy one.

Well some said that PS2 fat one is better, cos got big ventilation fan so no hardware failure due to overheating. But I think its not true, cos I play games with my PS2 slim for 3 years already and it's still in good condition.

besides, PS2 slim looks cool too

the heating problem for the PS2 slim happen to the earlier batch when it's 1st launch only. Now no problem with overheating anymore, some shops on the PS2 slim from morning till night, 7 days a week without any problem.

if the shop recommend u to buy PS2 fat bcos more tahan, can play 8 hours straight ... u better go to other shop n by PS2 slim ... in fact some newer games will lagging if u play on PS2 fat bcos of its older hardware.

PS2 Fat + PS2 network adapter + Harddrive = Playing without disk and faster loading

On my opinion, if u can find a new fat ps2, go ahead buy the fat ones. But I really doubt it u can find one selling anymore. If only u can find a mint condition/rarely used fat ps2. Then fat is better. If u're not a hardcore gamer, just go for slim ones. Just avoid to buy the first batch of the slim ps2. Lens easily kong/overheat.

i use my ps2 like crazy..play til 5hrs nonstop on sum days.. its stil ok. guess its stable now. and its pretty cheap aswell..but i rather recommend u to buy a wii. add 300extra can get u wii redi:)

How much is a PS2 nowadays, i havent been updating my self with ps2's progression lately.

dicided to ern next gen console....Xbox 360 out for 5,6 years oledi...and the Ps3 for 4 years......now onli own original Xbox with no games selling oledi...i heard thy r shop selling original Xbox 1 games for 3 ringgit with no return...and also i own PS 2 with 80s plus games , some spoil so onli 60 plus games can play.......want to know any new PS2 games coming out?

PS2 games, iam not sure, but you can check IGN for the line ups of new PS2 games. They are still releasing PS2 games IINM up until 2010 according to the 10 years policy.

Fat is better in reliability when it was launched but now fat ps2 has aged and sure will have problems and parts are not ez to comeby better get a slim its quite reliable,my PS2 slim my brothers lenjan kaw2 also already 2years running strong no issues at all.

my fat model outlived most of my niece's and nephews newer slim ps2...

My Ps2 fatty bom bom running more than 12 hour as we play PES league non-stop & still tahan until now.
