Minus 10% now. 9 fresh and 1 rotten. But the rotten one would still make sense. Its like the Xmen 3 problem.
COME ON BRAD BIRD I KNOW YOU CAN DELIVER! |

Based on the TDKR website, it doesn't seem so.

QUOTE(masterelr @ Dec 13 2011, 02:44 AM) IMAX price is Digital 2D films - RM22, for Digital 3D movies-RM26 accordin to TGV's Facebook. I was expecting RM 25 considering how its USD 3 extra compared to a normal experience in the states. but hey, RM 22 isn't that bad (plus, this being TGV with its slightly overpriced tickets).Thats like overpriced. But I have to watch for myself to see if its worth it. |

QUOTE(kobe8byrant @ Dec 15 2011, 11:55 AM) I can't be sure but I am told that select scenes are filmed in IMAX and yet we aren't able to view the difference in aspect ratio for certain scenes ala in The Dark Knight, leading me to believe that some of the scenes may be cropped! I think its readjusted, but I can't be sure since i haven't seen it myself. And yes. Only 33 minutes of the footage are in actual IMAX. We'll probably know which one when the BD is released. |

Yup. The IMAX in Malaysia is probably the smallest one available. The one in BTS would've been a WHOLE LOT bigger. Well, that is if GSC is smart enough to compete now. hehe.
Audio is SUPREMELY FANTASTIC. Especially in IMAX sequences. It really makes you feel the vibes. Kobe, there are noticable changes during the switch from IMAX and normal 35mm. I noticed black bars. As for the movie, Brad Bird definitely did not disappoint. |

QUOTE(kernanrio @ Dec 17 2011, 03:34 PM) GSC Maxx shows 35mm on a big screen, resulting in a blurry picture due to the stretch. On digital this would be a similar case, unless they were to utilize dual projectors like IMAX Sunway does. Exactly. Because i've tried both. And I know which is IMAX and which is not. |

QUOTE(mnhma @ Dec 19 2011, 10:54 AM) Again, no.I felt this was the best MI ever. And my experience was made better with IMAX. I get the villain though. In the sense that he's trying to create chaos in the hopes of just watching the world burn, so that we could evolve further. Thinks he's sort of a messiah as such. Anil Kapoor however, was a huge waste! His character is just sad... Gotta hand it down to Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner though. It would've been crazier if it was Nick Frost, but I don't think that's possible. Added on December 19, 2011, 10:59 am QUOTE(hairyLGS @ Dec 19 2011, 10:56 AM) I don't know - I felt M:I-2 did not have much action but did focus on the story between Ethan and Nyah Nordoff-Hall (played by Thandie Newton). For me, this was one of the least favorite John Woo films I ever felt disappointed (Hard-Boiled to this day is my all-time favorite because when it comes to most action and gun blazing - not a single movie can top this that able to create a good plot with it). Too little, but he did good really. The thing about Mission: Impossible series - it is about teamwork and not about just one person - which the first three films always focus on Ethan Hunt alone... and the only one in action. Ghost Protocol on the other hand... and surprisingly, the team members themselves get into action (except Benji Dunn... at least, he fire a shot) themselves in their own way. While many argue about the mask method - the actual TV series was never about that but rather about to each of the abilities of the team members of IMF and each of the members have their own screen time. The movie series on the other hand (for the first three) - its always Ethan Hunt. At least... Ghost Protocol has that balance for the IMF team. I do not know but funny... nobody mention Josh Holloway here This post has been edited by Kyoyagami: Dec 19 2011, 10:59 AM |

It wasn't really explained, but since we saw Ving Rhames at the end, you may assume IMF is still there. hehe.
